I have been trying the powder paint because I have heard people talk about how easy it is. I am trying to paint jigs made from a Do It Molds brush jig mold. The eye of the hook is recessed because the lead is molded around it. I am having problems with getting the eyelets clean. I have tried to slide a piece of metal through the eyelet as soon as I take it out of the powder but when the metal piece comes through it brings long strings of paint with it. So basically how do you clean your eyelets with powder paint?

What do you guys use to seal your jig heads? I started using CS coatings UV seal coat. Also, do you have to seal power paint?

I am just starting with the jig making and am having trouble will cleaning the eyelets so they look professional. I have been dipping my jig heads in vinyl lure and jig finish paint. I am going to try the pro-tec powder paint next to see if it works any better and possibly airbrush the heads. How do you guys get clean eyelets?

Does anyone make mop jig skirts? do you have to buy special skirts? I know mop jigs are rubber, but the skirt is much longer than traditional skirts. If so, where can i buy them? Thanks
