  1. Hi everyone. Due to my Russian fluency I have found the following information. This info consists of x-ray photos of hardbaits. I hope this info can act as source of guidelines how to weight hardbaits. http://www.vlasenko.ru/1400-nnn/1434-txt.htm Best, Ed

For the time being I am dealing theoretically with the following applicants to be my clearcoat in the nearest feature. The first one is – so, I found that our ladies use Jeweler's grade, self doming, crystal clear ICE Resin. http://www.iceresin.com Has anyone experience coating hardbait with ICE Resin stuff? If so, what was the result especially in the connection with the acrylic water based paint? 4. I love to understand how to balance a hardbait... How many piece of weight do you mount into hardbait and what is the most important considerations to keep in mind placing weight ? Again, just my thought – to use only one at the lowest point of blank? ...What about to consider mass centre of hardbait? I have heard that placement around the mass centre gives nice action – like shaking than moving or like shaking than sinking... Thank you in advance. Ed
  5. Hello everyone. TU Society, I am calling you because I need help regarding choosing a wood for the aim to built a glider to obtain sinusoid sine curve action – left, right, left, right like in army. So... Have you preferences regarding wood sort? Just my thought – does wood density affects a hardbait – glaider – action? If affects, in what way – denser wood does hardbait slower; lighter wood does wider side moves? Thanks, Ed
  6. Hi. As well, I am on the way to build a dryer for my toys. For time being, my plan is to start this mega building project using a microwave oven step motor. This motor is cheap, has huge power, compact and silent as grass. http://i00.i.aliimg.com/photo/v0/373993272/Microwave_oven_motor.jpg Just one thing to keep on mind – rpm. They are not so speedy Gonzales, around 2 – 6 rpm if I am right, but they do business. So, what is your preferences regarding rpm?
  7. Thank you for your input. The reason why I am talking about water based paint and/or clear coat because of my work space which one situated in my flat. This means that I should keep ambient air as clean as possible. On other hand, more I am searching info about water based clear coat, more I am leaning to solvent based clear coat... in my thoughts… I fully agree that layer and coats should repel water and moister.
  8. Hello everybody. I am new here. Shortly about fishing – my target is northern pike, my fishing method is jerkbait, and my fishing policy is catch and release. I have been reading a lot to find useful info on how to build a jerkbait/glider. For the time being, this forum is one of the best as such. And here is my challenge. In my country (I am from Lithuania) is no chance to find proper clear coat for hard bait. You are really happy people due to enormous options to choose from. So, my idea is either to use acrylic lacquer that is used for yacht or for parquet. Please, your comments on this are more than appreciated
