I'm looking into to buying a Revo 8:1 gear ratio for a pitching and flipping reel. And i want to put it on a Tommy Biffle 6ft 10inch flipping rod. Any body know anything about the reel. Any info would be helpful. thanks Brent

Just wondering why every big company out there is not trying to capitalize on hunting crankbaits. I'm mean they have all the money and know how, just seems they would all have at least one bait out there that would hunt like crazy....just a thought

Hey Dave....What's it going to cost for you to tell everyone how to build a crankbait that will hunt. I don't build baits myself, but you could save everyone a lot of time and trouble and may be a marriage or two. I know that everyone looks up to you because of your skills and talents. All KO's are not equal....if you pay .25 cents for one your not going to get much. Do you paint lures for your friends for free? The company's that are selling KO's for a 1.50 have to make something are they wouldn't be doing it. Just a thought.

I know....we all like our lures to look the best they can be....But being an old dog like myself....i don't care if it looks like a bug that has hit a windshield. If it catches fish and the fish don't care neither do i. I'll bet you that if strike king came out with the ugliest color in the world and KVD caught fish on it, everyone would be trying to copy it... Case in point....Bandit Lures came out with a color years ago that they don't make anymore...They didn't sell any because the color look like SH...t. I use to have a tackle shop a long time ago and was able to find 7 of them that were still in the pack and they were different sizes....I had them sitting in my reel case at the shop one day and was offered 40 dollars each for them. No i didn't sell them....the reason i didn't was because the old Bandits are not made like the new ones. But you can always custom paint a new one. You might get 8 bucks for it. But i promise it will still look like SH.....t...... good luck with the solarez....take care Brent
