That's what i was afraid of....It's real hard to beat auto clear..except maybe on wood. But like you i guess we are all looking for the that perfect clear. But i'm afraid someone will have to invent something new, because i think just about everything out there has be tried by someone. I'm sure the Holy Grail is out there somewhere in our future. They better hurry or it won't be in my life time..LOL

How about giving some info on this......never heard of this stuff but would love to hear some more and i'm sure other members would too. What size of container does this stuff come in and the cost? Does it work on wood and plastic? Thanks for the post.

On the iwata i can not fine any markings i have a 3 mm 3.5 mm 5 mm..... I also have a Paaschee VL and it has 3 needle that came with it and they are marked. Might want to call Iwata or maybe someone else on the site knows...Sorry i couldn't help

I use to look at ever Ace Hardware i could find and when i went somewhere new i'd look there to...I have never found D2T and any Ace Hardware....But that's ok ...Bob Smith and ACC is better anyway...at least i think so...

Thanks for the replys.....The reason i wanted to use airbrush paint is to get some detail on the head of the spinnerbait.......I was also thinking of using auto clear for the clear coat...I know you can catch a bass on a cheap spinnerbaits...but i wanted to make a quality product.....Any more info would be welcomed... thanks Brent

I read something not to long ago that said ....Clear baits work best in clear water and sunlight hitting the bait....Can't remember where i read this..but it makes since.

Do you have to use power paint on spinnerbaits. Or can i use air brush paint with a good clear coat.. Any help would be welcomed... thanks Brent

Once you put the lure in the water...you can not tell what it has on it.....I've put lures in a fish tank and i can't tell one clear coat from another. As long as it catches fish....i think that's what we all want..

If you cure with the right process it want haze over......If you just put it under a light till it's cured or put it out in the sun till it's cured....it will haze over. Go read the solarez thread and it tells you how to cure it right...

How close to the black light are the baits when you cure with solarez????? Are you leaving the lures on the turner when you cure???? thanks Brent
