  1. That's it!!! Those are the ones. A little spendy but they are so easy to install and super tough. Thanks for link! Now I don't have to milk these LOL!!
  2. I got some weedgaurds once from skirts plus or something and they had a fused base. I still have a few. The website has changed its name now but I can't remember what it is. They sell Boss jigs now or something. These were the best weedgaurds I have ever used. Super high quality, no strings, no weedgaurds falling apart. I try to find a link but it's been a LONG time lol!!
  3. I would go this route, http://do-itmolds.co...ory&path=1_8_28 Use the 3434 mold,it takes the same hooks as the ball jig you were looking at so no change there, it has the double keeper, and if you don't wan the weed guard no problem just trim the pin so it sits flush and pour away as many as you like without modding the mold and getting all the features you want.
  4. You can get them from Barlows tackle. Here is a Mustad equivalent, but you can get the do-it ones from here also. http://www.barlowstackle.com/Mustad-Wacky-Jig-Hook-P2130.aspx

  6. http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/19295-ultra-vibe-blades/ here is another thread. might give you answers. Basically, they are just not around anymore.
  7. Maybe some wire mesh or chicken wire, were u can just snip off some of the squares an lay it on the top rack of your toaster. I think someone might have a better description or a pic or something. I think Vodkaman did something like this once.
  8. I also use a two part epoxy. Its easy and dries clear.
  9. Pick up a used toaster oven at a swap meet or yard sale for 1$. Can't do better than that.
  10. Ooops I just noticed u wanted a 1/8th and not a 1/4th lol. Well u get the pic. Do-it does have a screw lock round ball no collar shakey head mold but not in a production modle.
  11. http://do-itmolds.co...ry&path=1_7_212 One like this looks promising. Use this one : PRO-104 SERIES - PRO-104 RHSBARB 1/4 You should be able to fit a 4/0 Gammy 604 or Mustad equivalent without much trouble. http://do-itmolds.com/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=1_7_213 This one has a different keeper but you can fit a much larger hook on the 1/4oz model without mods. PRO-106 SERIES - PRO-106 JRS R&B 1/4
  12. You can use a Do-It production mold with the barb collar and a heavy hook. They used to make one that would use the EC 635 2/0 hook witch is basically the same size as a Gammy 604 4/0 hook. These were made with straight eyes, so if you want a flat eye model you will just have to modify it. Not sure if they offer these anymore in their catalog. These molds can be found on eBay every now and then. I think the heavy hook models start with JRS then a 6 for the number of cavities and finally a 14 for 1/4oz size. Not totally sure, i bet Cadman will chime in. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
  13. Yes, Cadman you're a stand up guy and will do business with you whenever possible. I have recently purchased Cadmans nylon pins and i have to say they are the cats meow to those of us who pour lead. Don't anyone be caught without them, you wont regret it.
