  2. I get the hard plastic stick on eyes from Ebay. They are from China. I think 100 are $1 with $.50 shipping https://www.ebay.com/itm/100Pcs-Pack-3-9mm-Fish-Eyes-3D-Holographic-Lure-Eyes-Fly-Tying-Jigs-Crafts-Dolls-/302036731058?var=&hash=item0

  10. This post is ancient and all is fine. Pleas lock or delete it.
  11. I use a light LC Motor oil for that.
  12. Thanks for all the info. Just not worth it. Are Chrome baits even popular anymore?
  13. .62 would be really hard to bend with hand tools LOL
  14. But did you see the price of that stuff? Garcia Rosa on the Facebook site Brotherhood of Crankbait painters is the foiling expert.
  15. Ya I would start with Chartreuse and dirty it up a bit with GP Depends what bait you are making. Only thin apendage will be the lighter color. Here is a Chart pumpkin I made to show what I mean.
  16. Your best bet it foil tape and a heat press
  17. Yup searched and nada.
  18. This one has worked well for me. Remember use a tiny bit more resin then hardener. https://www.ebay.com/itm/AWS-1000g-x-0-1g-Gram-Digital-Pocket-Scale-Powder-Jewelery-Gold-Silver-Coin-Herb/273223750546?epid=19014628941&hash=item3f9d679392:g:8WIAAOSwJo5bAEhw
  19. I think those might be some sort of stone. Maybe artificial. I made some from fiberglass resin and they work well.
  20. I have said it before (and prob already in this thread). Get a small digital scale from ebay for about $10. For baits like a 1.5 sb I put medicine cup on the scale and zero it. Add 11g resin and the add 10g hardner till scale reads 21g. Mix about 2 mins with a popsickle stick. Perfect every time and very simole.
  21. Sounds like air pockets and not bubbles. As said either get/make a spru extender or baby sit the mold and keep topping it off as the level goes down. If it is not sucking down then the gates are too small and closing (cooling) and not allowing the plastic in the spru to be used.
  22. The HD additive is great and makes the baits more durable. However it is a grey paste that will cloud the color even more than salt. Glass beads is best way to get more translucent sinking baits that show color and flake well. Downside is it will scratch your injector.
  23. Ya meant 2 secods per foot. As Bass Boys said, vary the sink for different conditions. Spring when fish are very shallow you may go a little less sink additive. I prefer the faster sink. People tend to fish too fast (including myself). I think that's why real Senkos work so well. They are heavier than most KO's and get down better to the fish.
