  1. Yes sir. Thank you. Here's what it says when I typed in Megabass fishing lure from Macau. Megabass Fishing Lure has an import duty rate of 9% So, according to this calculation...I'm looking at about $3.
  2. Geez, you guys done talked me outta them Z cranks. I contacted the e-bay seller and he said "$5 USD" for a lot of 10 crank baits. But, like y'all have stated...he doesn't really know. I ain't goin' to jail over some crank blanks....even if they ain't KO's.
  3. I doubt you'll find any epoxy to be much more forgiving. You can buy Devcon all over the interweb. Good Luck
  4. Well, inside my shot but the part of it I use for painting is not air conditioned. The "70 degrees" is not a problem here. Today at 1:00 pm my truck thermo registered 96.
  5. Bob, I agree with ya on the BBB blanks. They are as good it comes. I buy most of my stuff from Bryan. I wanted a few of these Megabass z Cranks but none of the big 3 have 'em. Gary, that is great advice in your last statement. I'm gonna do just that. I usually don't like surprises at all.
  6. Etex takes waaaaaay longer to set than Devcon. My Etex usually sets to touch in 8 hours or so....Devcon about half that. I live just N of N'Awlins and I assure ya...the humidity here is about as bad as it gets.
  7. Might try here: www.lurelayouts.com
  8. Here ya go, guys. www.unpaintedlure.com The Megabass Z Crank was the one I was referrin' to. From what I can gather this is not a KO. Thanks for your responses.
  9. Anybody have a clue what this is and how much it might amount to? Is it really worth ordering lures internationally? Thanks Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges
  10. After the feedback...think I'm gonna rethink the air gun purchase.
  11. Work looks good, but, you're gonna try to spray the Etex?

    006

I did this guy for a friend that fishes huge stripers off the coast of Rhode Island. The bait is 7 + inches long and weighs 6 oz.
  13. I like them baits, Mark. I'm here to tell ya...trout and redfish would eat 'em.
  14. That'll get bit...fo sho.

    Joker Shad

All the baits look great, Patrick. Don't know if you guys have ever noticed or not, but, Patrick never fails to thank the ones that have helped him along the way with this hobby. You can certainly see from his progression that he is a good student. I am even more impressed by this than the baits that he builds. I am as appreciative as well, but, I'm not as good a student. You have helped me more than I can say. Keep up the good work, my friend.

    Heat Gun

I've been using my daughter's reject hair dryer for my painting. I've decided to invest in a heat gun because I wanna try shrinking some stencil material. Any particular brand y'all recommend? Also, fixin' to purchase a stencil burner. I found one that is "30 W" while the others are around 15-18. How powerful does this thing have to be? Thanks
  17. I use latex Sharpies from time to time for detailing....not signature. I ain't puttin' my name on my work.

    baits for my cousin

Nice and clean. They all look awesome.
  20. That's what I been doin'. Didn't know if it was the proper way or not, but, like Mark said...it's fast and simple. I need to dump my pail more often, tho.
  21. Brent, I'm sorry I couldn't have been of more help to ya. I can find out where my body shop friend orders his from. I'm sure the same people service McComb since it's only an hour away.

    No Fish Left Behind

Haha. 2cool. I love it, Ben.
  23. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thread hijackin' in progress.
  24. Like Ben, I use auto clear. I usually spray 5-6 coats. I still use epoxies but I spray the Dupont for the top coat.
