    Great job there, Markie.
  3. That is true, but, patience and persistence can overcome a lack of either. Just keep at it.

Here's a few foil jobs. The only one that might not be as recognizable is the croaker in the upper left.
  5. Yeah, I just got the word from Bryan as bustinbass. I was fixin' to mess up. I wonder....how will these props hold up to redfish? BTW, thanks for your response, man.
  6. I got some Buzz Jets in today. Can I unscrew this prop? I tried but was afraid I'd twist something off. Kinda hard to foil with this thing in the way. Thanks
  7. I use the wrapper from Elmer's Chee-Weez. They are made in New Orleans, so, i get a few unused ones from time to time when my wife places her orders. The foil has a different texture than other chip and candy wrappers I've found. It is super thin.
  8. I have a can of DN that I've had for a few weeks. I'm afraid to open it.
  9. I take advantage of my wife owning a snack vending business. Candy wrappers and chip bags are foil and it is the thinnest that I've ever seen. Also, it does not wrinkle easily. You can wad it up into a tight ball and it will release. Works great. Just make sure you clean the inside of the chip bag with alcolol, acetone, etc.
  10. Anybody familiar with these blanks? I've never seen them before. Was just wonderin' if they're "quality" or not. http://www.ebay.com/itm/5pcs-MEGABASS-ITO-DOG-X-Speed-Slide-WALKER-Unpainted-DIY-LURE-/170836252378?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c6a256da Thanks
  11. I haven't found many positives where any polyurethane is concerned. I know that, in just a short period of time, it will totally change the color of your lure.

I wondered what you been doin'......now I see.
  13. I use Elmer's spray glue and haven't had any issues. After I spray the backside of the foil, I wait about 5 minutes before I position it on the blank. Seems to be a bit more forgiving in case I have to adjust it.

    You would know. Thanks.
  15. I ordered some of yours, Ben. Tired of fightin' with this stuff.
  16. Sorry bout the double post. First time postin' a pic.
  17. Mark is right......there should be no need to leave one color in the cup that long.

Great lookin' job, Mr. Ben. Wrong blade or not....I'd hit it!
  19. I know you asked that we not "chuckle too loudly", but, I couldn't help myself when I read this. It took several weeks for me to finally get a payment request from DN and another few weeks to actually receive the package. If you're planning to use DN....I wouldn't be too antsy. BTW, welcome to TU.
