Dear Santa,
I'm in the process of building a drying wheel
I have plenty of #11 blades
I don't want an elf hangin' around my house
My hearing is too bad for a talking airbrush
I don't watch "Dancing with the Stars" or pro football
I do have one request, however.......
I wish I could paint a bait like The Rookie!
I've had several e-mail conversations with Rob and Michelle over the past couple weeks concerning a custom order and all my questions were addressed promptly. Upon hearing of the passing of Michelle's mom, I backed off but will be placing my order this weekend.

I'm not sure what the problem is with everybody's order, but, I do know there was a recent family death. I'm in the process of placing an order, myself. Hopefully, things will come together.
I've done a couple of photo on foil and some with just the photo. The same patterns look different when over foil. Mine don't seem to show up as much over foil but they are light in color. Is it necessary to paint the bait a certain color before foiling? With just the decal it doesn't seem to matter. I prefer these methods because of my lack of painting ability.
This is great info by everybody. I seem to have very little confidence when detailing my foto baits and my patience (which I thought I had) is even wearing thin. The OP's craw crank looks good to me. I'd settle for 1 of those out of 25.
I would like to extend a bit of sympathy to one of TU's members and sponsors, www.lurelayouts.com, in the passing of Michelle's mom. God Speed to you, Rob and your family.

I ordered a rotisserie unit today from e-bay because it's painfully obvious that I'm gonna need a lure turner if I plan to continue my new hobby. I tried to turn 'em with my cordless drill but I guess it was too fast. A couple of the baits had ripples (waves) down the sides. Only when the battery began to wear down did it turn slow enough to actually get a couple that were in pretty good shape. Makes me nervous messin' with that epoxy.
