  1. Yeah you can feel the difference in weight. Is this just a stirring issue? I need to stir more or better? Maybe using a larger object for stirring? Right now I am using basically a small fork.
  2. I am not using any stabalizer, I was thinking about just making smaller batches so I am not re-heating anything over and over again. After exploring the board and reading how important stirring is , I try to make sure and stir often. I stir every 30 secs and then again right be for pouring, to make sure their is a good mixture. Thanks for the help !!
  3. I have been pouring some shiney minnow (lC)color senko style worms. I notice on my first pour the worms are pretty clear, but after I re-heat and pour a couple more sets they get progressivly cloudy and instead of the clear silver they are almost cloud gray. Is this due to the salt content on the bottom of the cup or possiby an effect of re-heating the plastic a couple times. I only pour 2 oz at time, but because I only have one 3 cavity mold I need to reheat the plastic a couple times. Thanks for any help.
  4. Thanks for the feed back guys. Milrtyme thanks for the info about over pouring a little to get rid of the flat spot, I was trying to be as clean as possible so I would always cut down the overfill, but with a little overfill then some trimming I will have a round worm. Thanks. Toadfrog - Thanks for the name ideas about the local tourneys. Once I had my technique down and confident in the worms I was going to give them away to friends and people on my local fishing forum to try and hopefully get some feedback. As for selling them outside of the worm I didnt plan on going all out on packaging. I've ordered worms on ebay and they show up in a sandwich bag which I am ok with because it keeps cost down. Thanks again guys for the your time and help !!!
  5. Hey Everyone, New to the board and love all the info on here. I have spent the last couple days running different searches on different topics. I have a couple questions since a lot of you sell your worms and lures. I am looking to start selling hand poured worms, but not as a living just for the fun of it. I am looking to keep it as simple as possible. I have a simple 3 cavity rubber mold. Do you find that people perfer full round worms as to 3/4 (small flat spot) since I have an open mold. Since I am not planning to go crazy trying to sell a ton do you pour to order or stock up? Thanks for any help. -Kris-
