  10. just wanted to see a picture of a (sammie bait) so i know what it looks like thanks
  11. ok soaked it overnight and blew air thru all the parts and get air flow at the valve at low pressure(10 to 20 psi) but it shuts off at 22 psi and all i get is puffs of air again?
  12. I'll clean it again and see what happens,if that wont work i guess i'll just have to buy a better air brush
  13. i have a bager airbrush that has sat i a box a few years now and got it out to spray some fine lines but all i get is a small puff of air when i press the button any help?
  14. ok heres my 2 cents fish prey on other fish, the weak one the strong one the hurt and crippled ones but thay prey on the ones that are diffirent more times then not so if you make a bait diff. looking then the other bait the fish are feeding on (say shad)then you should have a hot bait just by making it with a diff. color or size,I have seen fish not hit a 3inch lure becouse the bait that thay were feeding on was 2 inchs long and also the other way around most fish strike a lure out of instint becouse it is swimming passed them and if thay don't it will be gone and might have been its best chance at eating anything that day so yes a bait has to be fished to catch fish so you must catch the fisherman/woman first so thay can throw the bait.......

    DSC09979

nice shad bait is it a photo over bait?
  16. put down a sealing coat first so the tape has a flat smooth surface, then after that drys put on your tape and put some super glue along the underside at the edge of the tape that should help
  17. you might also try painting the darker colors first then spraying gold over mesh on the whole bait instad of spraying gold first spray it last?
  18. if it rotates the wire will wear thru sealer, you might want to get some brass tubeing ( most hobby shops sell it ) just bigger then your wire drilling a hole the size of the outside of the tubing coat it with super glue and press into the hole then clear coat the lure shoud take care of any water inside the lure and it will spin better on the tubing
  19. cool bait i think your in the right area with adding foam to the top of the bait but what if you added lead to the bottom?its heaver then the alum. and should do the same thing as it will in a plastic/pvc swim bait it might need a little more then a plastic/pvc swim bait but it still should work
  20. i made some from a slick50 sticker i got with some oil had 2 diff size hole punchs a reg size and a small size used the reg. size one for the outter size stuck it on with super glue, punched out a black spot from the letters on the sticker with the small punch applyed on top of the first spot and had two eyes that look like store bought
  21. I've had hybrid bass(5 to 8 lbs) pull hook eye out of basswood due to currents below the dam i fish and break 20 lb test on the strike a 30 or 40 lb musky can and will rip out hookeyes when you hook them at the boat and there is NO give to the line/rod even breaking the lures in half so thru wire is the way to go
  22. you might try another hook that sometimes helps diff. make maybe?
