  1. I got one made that actually looks like it’s gonna work. I did lots of sanding on one I had tried to cut out prior to reading the posts on here. I had some big square bills and had cut the corners off of them. I’ll try and post a pic when I get it all finished thanks boys
  2. I’ve got a Dremel tool and all the other stuff you mentioned and I’ve tried to make them. It’s the skill I don’t have. no i don’t buy pre made I make my baits. My woodworking tools are at the least very limited but I can make a few baits. I mainly make buck tails and copy a crane minnow bait out of balsa wood that I just buy the lips for. Trying to make a crank bait for a buddy and when I try and make the coffin bills they look like a 2 year old made them, so I thought I’d try to buy some. I haven’t looked in the new Rollie n Hellens catalog yet but , I’m gonna here in a few
  3. Anyone know where I could buy some 2 5/8 to 2 3/4 inch Lexan coffin bill diving lips for a musky bait I’d like to try and make.. I don’t have the tools to make them and can’t seem to find any online that I’ve come across. ‘thanks
  4. I make custom baits all the time, it’s easy here’s how I do it get a bait I like, then a piece of wood about the same size file sandpaper etc then I start shaping the bait trying to make it look like the original. then when I get it shaped it looks nothing like the original, so instant custom bait. my painting is pretty much the same so instant custom paint job. imitation is the greatest form of flattery. I just wish I could do it.
  5. Not sure if it's related or not. This happened right after I diped it. before it was dry. Noticed it within a minute
  6. Painted my lure up and put holo tape on it and it really looked trick, to me anyway. diped it in concrete sealer and it seemed to bubble the holo tape in some spots. Any one got any suggestions as to what I did wrong or why it did this. I don't paint much and it's my first time using the concrete sealer. Pretty bummed about it really.
  7. Can you dip a lexan diving lip or do you stay away from the lip as best you can?
  8. There is another question I had answered......Can you paint over it.. Do you use it inside your house? Some concrete sealers I been around are strong enough to make you dizzy just being close to it outside. Lots of different kinds of GST is the wet look lacquer what you are using. (GST International High Gloss Wet Look Lacquer Concrete Sealer)
  9. GST International High Gloss Wet Look Lacquer Concrete Sealer Is this what you are using? Can you get it in amounts less then 5 Galons
  10. How about an exact name for some of the concrete sealers you guy are using for sealers and topcoats. I don't make baits often but would like to try something other the epoxy or Etex. Thanks
