  1. There are a couple of youtube videos showing people using it for what it was designed for.
  2. Just checked McMaster-Carr and they have .041 wire in stock.
  3. Got a couple hundred blades to paint for salmon spinners. The blades are lacquer coated brass. I'm guessing I need to remove the lacquer before I paint the blades?
  4. For in-line spinners it's really hard to beat the Twistech spinner maker. I prefer NOT to buy spooled wire and instead buy SS spring wire in one foot pieces from Grainger.
  5. Alright...after messing with the HF air eraser I got it to work. Using the cheap HF white paint I was actually able to spray a couple of blades.
  6. Don't waste your money on it. Been there, done that.
  7. Anyone every try this for applying powder paint?
  8. I wasn't clear. The airbrushing of other colors won't be with powder paint.
  9. Been reading the forum for a couple of days. Think I have most of my questions answered. But just want to make sure I'm going about this the right way. 1. Strip lacquer from blades. 2. Apply white powder paint and cure. 3. Airbrush additional colors/patterns on blade. Am I making it more complicated than it needs to be? Am I missing any steps? These would all be fairly large blades used for Salmon spinners. If the spinners go well I will then try some wobblers.
