  8. Thanks for ur response jig man, the tube I was referring to are call swivel sleeves, I found some on lureparts but don't know what size I would need to make a correct fit over the wires, maybe I might have to give them a call
  9. Hey guys I'm trying to build my first umbrella rig, I want to know what size wires do guys use on a typical 5 wire rig with 1/4 to 3/16oz swim jig heads and 4-5" swimbaits? .040 or .050? I don't like the very flimsy wires as they tend to get twisted up too easily, I like a bit more stout wires but still have some flex. Also I'm planning to put willow blades on them as wel and I am wondering where can I find the willow blades and the little tube that slides over the wires that the blades is connected to??

  19. Hey guys I've search and couldnt get a good answer, anyways, I've carved out a little 5" paddle tail swimbait that has a flat top that will be in a open top pour mold if that makes any sense, which would be the best soft plastic to use for a 5" swimbait to give it good action and yet still durable ? It's going to be use mainly for large mouth/spotted bass and sometimes stripers Thanks in advanced

  23. Barry thanks for your response, I know company's like 316 uses carbon fiber rods to hold their piano or door hinge joints together, what I wanted to know is if the carbon fiber rod would be ideal to use with the more common metal screw eyes type joints without wearing out the carbon fiber?
