  6. Hey guys so I've had a few suggestions on here of trying the alumilite flex resin materials and I've given them a shot and it's not comming out the way I want it to, when the materials starts the curing process it creates lots of air bubble and makes my swimbait tails look horrible. I'm thinking of switching to different soft material, was thinking about alumisol plastic and adding hardener to get it to what I like, any suggestion on this?? Will the alumisol plastic w Hardener be strong enough to not Tare? What other materials in the soft plastic do u guys recommend me looking at?

  8. hey guys ive been looking for a bright silver paint to paint the sides of my lures, what i have use so far is createx auto air bada bling silver, poly transpar bright silver pearl, and walmart brand metalic silver, non of these came out to what i was looking for, the only one that came close is the polytranspar bright silver, anyone know of a good bright shinny glittery silver close to a shinner paint? lmk
  9. Hey guys I bought some poly bags in the 1.5mil thickness to bag up my hard swim baits thinking it was the correct thickness, but the bags are too thin, I'm wondering what Mil thickness are guys using to bag up their baits, 2mil, 3mil?? 13. yes i glue the ballast in then fill the rest of the hole with either bondo or solarez, sand and shape to baits contour i need something like bondo but stronger lol
  14. I've been using automotive bondo and solarez to fill up ballast holes, the bondo does a great job because its thicker and doesn't drip so I can shape/sand it to match the shape of my lures bottom but it cracks fairly easy because the material is a bit softer leaving a line around the ballast hole, the solarez is a much stronger material and is rock hard when cured but it's not easy to shape it to match the bottom of my lures because its a bit runny, what are some of u guys using to fill ballast holes and having good results ?
