Hit the nail on the head with that one (sweet ) -
well to be honest the paint it went a bit wrong hence the title a new carving as this is a new shape for me -
Thanks Joe i heard that myself somewhere to ..I could be wrong but I think as long as you are not sanding or grinding it should be ok ? I cannot seem to capure in the photo how good this shell looks i will have to get some more if the fish like it -

could any one advise me on best the products i need to make fins and tails for my lures i also need to color them i would also like the rubber\plastic to be firm but pliable to protect from pike teeth any help appriciated

very nice spray job i think braided line is right about the red but for me it would have been the belly with blue under mouth .with a silver eye against the darker background. but then again who am i to judge well done -

Thanks RayburnGuy the lines i can do both sides in under 5 minutes the most tedious ? {time consuming} part for me is laying the foil without getting any creases -
i can see a lot of work went into this bait well done i love the gill work -

New lipless foil bait i have made i use the back of a fine knife to make the freehand lines in the foil hope you like it ? -
