Hello everyone, I have been reading posts for quite some time, and appreciate all the information that everyone offers. I have a question regarding the Do It Grass Jig mold. The model of the mold is SMJ-3-SF, and is the mold for 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 oz sizes. From what I understand, Gamakatsu does not make a 28 degree hook that will fit this mold unless you order a very large lot size directly from the manufacturer. My question is: Can the Gamakatsu 2014 EWG hook be modified (straightened) out from 60 to 28 degrees to work in this mold? Will it fit after modification? I am pretty certain that the hook can be modified, I just wondered if anyone has tried this, and what the results were? Thanks in advance for any responses!
