Hello, I've always had problems finding rods with the correct action, power, length, and handle to my liking, so was considering building my own. I have ample room and am not as dumb as my wife says I am. How hard is it build a rod that will look and perform well?

I paint all my lures by hand and use a variety of different acrylic paints. If you want to do fine detail using craft paints thinning with an acrylic medium helps a lot , , or you can get high quality liquid acrylics, which won't need to be thinned.

Hello, my name is Vincent I was a active on this site around five years ago when I was making soft plastics. Life got in the way and hadn't made anything until last year now I'm a total addict and mostly make strange fishable folk art and fish decoys.

I have a small toaster oven I use to preheat my senko mold.

I always sharpen and resharpen my hooks just like to make sure to improve all variables in catching and landing fish that i can control.
