  1. Here is a pretty long video but it shows a fairly easy way to make a three color laminate.
  2. It's what I use for my lures and I've been really happy with it.
  3. When I make redbug I use 1/8 t of .040 black flake and 1/8 t of .015 green flake. Maybe a little more green if I feel it needs it.
  4. Yes it is. Great mold, definitely a great mold for the money.
  5. I don't have the molds anymore but when I did it worked very well. Both molds are very user friendly and easy to shoot. My only suggestion would be to shoot just as many tails as you need for one time. If you shoot a bunch and store them often times the mold with the main bait is not as strong.
  6. Too hot. Cut it down a little bit. I shoot mine 320-330.
  7. I like to use a moving bait like a chatterbait reeled just fast enough to get it to thump. Flukes are great, too. If she's sitting on a bed you may try a drop shot rig and drag it over the bed and just shake it right in her fact until she can't take it anymore and bites.
  8. I would have never thought they used cc/mL for measuring gun powder; I figured it would have been mG. Cool setup nonetheless.
  9. You measure glitter in cc/mL? That unit of measurement is normally reserved for liquids. What are you measuring your glitter with?
  10. What company makes the color your wanting, Roger?
  11. I use spoons I liberated from the kitchen drawer. I would love to get my hands on one of these DVDs. Rip it to my HDR and upload it to YouTube.
  12. Top Color 1/2 cup plastic 2 T popcorn salt 3/4 T softener 25 drops watermelon (lureworks) 5 drops black melon (lureworks) .035 black flake .008 gold flake Bottom color 1/2 cup plastic 2 T popcorn salt 3/4 T softener 4 drops white pearl powder
  13. Don't use much flouro on my spinning set ups anymore. I do use the BPS Excel mono and have nothing but good things to say about it and highly recommend it. If you're thinking about trying some fluoro, I really like the Seaguar Red label 8 pound test for my spinning applications. Mostly skipping docks with a wacky rig and shakey head fishing. Really sensitive and abrasion resistant.
  14. Sounds to me like a problem with the plastic being too hot. Try shooting it at 320-335 and see if that doesn't solve your problem. I use a small paintbrush and swipe some worm oil on some of my harder to fill molds.
  15. This was the first thing I thought of reading through all of this lol.
  16. I don't put salt in any of my baits and bass eat them just fine. Plus, the plastic without salt doesn't tear up nearly as easily.
  17. I use the small glitter in a lot of my bass baits, even the very large ones. They make really good accent colors to the larger flake or just gives a different look when using two sizes of the same color. My junebug has .040 and .015 flake in it. Watermelon red is .040 black and .040 and .015 red flake. It's all personal preference in the end. If YOU like it, fish it! I really doubt the fish put much stock into what size flake were using
  18. ispikeit.com watermelon 101 colorant. Literally all you need to do is shake up the colorant before you add your drops and you're good to go.
  19. 1/2 cup plastic 4 drops natural 2 drops pumpkinseed 3 drops root beer 7 drops green pumpkin 1 drop tomato 3 drops orange .015 orange and red flake .035 black flake
  20. I got my little 2X3 bags off of eBay for dirt cheap.
  21. I throw all my soft body frogs with superline 4/0 hooks so they've always got a little weight to them just due to the nature of the heavy wire hook. I haven't really had any problems with it rolling over on me so it's not a big concern.
  22. I've never had a problem throwing this frog even on 50 pound braid. Throw a heavy wire 4/0 hook in it and let her rip. Got mine just before spring last year and caught fish on them all year long.
