  1. Ben What type of bit do you use in reverse? Spade or Forstner or something else
  2. Very Smart Ben I have always drilled the eye holes before sealing and dealt with the mess I will give this a try Thanks
  3. Yup Bob works evan if you spell it backwards.
  4. FrogAddict I use .062 for my baits. If you have a welding supply store nearby ask them if they sell the SS welding rods separately. That way you won't have to invest in a whole roll and you can try out a few different gauges and types. You will need a good pair of round nose pliers to bend them.

    Solarez

If the sun is out hang it outside for a while. It should be rock hard in an hour. If not it's the Solarez. I usually put it under the light until the surface cures and then hang them outside to finalize the cure.
  6. Sorry can see it on a mac but not an IPad ??? Cool video, but they don't have a scale pattern : (
  7. I have used the halo graphic foil gift bags they sell at most dollar stores. It depends on what you need to do with it, but it can be glued to most surfaces and Etex covers it with no problem. They usually have a large selection of patterns and colors, but you might have to wait until they restock after Xmas. For a buck a bag it's really cheap
  8. Cover bait with contact cement let dry a couple of minutes roll into beard PULL. Works great
  9. Littleriver this is better than 16 shades of grey LOL
  10. Thanks for the link and the great video : ) I don't know why I can't see the embedded videos? Maybe a problem with flash that IPads can't see? Thanks again
  11. I don't know why I cannot see videos posted here??? Would it be possible to add a link at the bottom of your videos, I know I am not the only one who has this problem Thanks
  12. I think vinegar does the same thing
  13. Thanks Smalljaw Maybe I should have worded it differently Back to acceptable levels where he could have gone back to work!
  14. Once drunk always drunk???? It takes a long time for levels to drop back to normal like I said Call up your workmans compensation board or whatever you have in your state and ask them for proof. I am sure they can enlighten you
  15. A guy I went to highschool with who I have been friends with since, use to work in a car battery recycling plant. After working there for two years he went for a physical and told the doctor what he did for a living. The Doc said that he would check for lead in his system. The results came back !!! his blood levels had 30 times the allowed levels and he was given a year off work paid by workman's compensation. They opened an investigation and forced the plant to fix all their ventilation and procedures. It took almost a year and a half for his blood levels to get back to normal. He found another type of work after that! I know that this is extreme as he work 40 + hours a week breathing and touching the lead but it can easily get into your body and it takes a long time to get out. Taking precautions can never hurt you and lead dust of any kind in your house is not safe period.
  16. Thanks for the info How is the density when it comes to buoyancy. Do you find it difficult to get the bait to sink and do you use a lot of lead? I would think that the foam would be super buoyant like a cork?
  17. How many times does the foam expand? It must be close to 2 times or you would loose more than you wind up with the finished product? Is the hardness strong enough for larger baits such as for Pike/Musky or would they just tear them apart? Do you prime the foam or seal it?
  18. At harbour freight they call them Helping Hands on sale for $2.99 http://www.harborfreight.com/helping-hands-319.html
  19. Google hands free clamp
  20. A while back I tried using solarez on my knots between braid and florocarbon. It's FANTASTIC! Nice little round ball that slides through the guides if you accidentally reel in too much. Strong like a weld.
  21. Send in your taxes anonymously, the IRS really likes that!!!!!
  22. Here is a translated Italian site that has a lot of good info, some of it from a differant perspective. http://translate.google.it/translate?hl=it&sl=it&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fxoomer.virgilio.it%2Fcjbur%2F1indice_tema.htm
  23. I use it all the time and you just need to use the bottom of a spoon to flatten the foil , especially the edges .
  24. If its flexible it might be hot melt glue?
