    sticky plastic

it really depends on a few things, are you using aluminum molds? certain other molds will leave a sticky finish. if you are using aluminum, they shouldnt stick together. make sure you are heating the plastic high enough and even enough (usually around 350 f) or they wont turn over properly into a solid when they cool. but yes worm oil in the bags is a good idea, a few drops per bag will be enough
  3. that uses the 6001 filters which seem to be agreed upon earlier to do the job
  4. looks like a blue pearl hilite powder
  5. if you have any of the baits from the mold, just make a new mold! problem solved
  6. few different options but D2T is really the best i've come across if you're willing to spend the time
  7. red glitter will bleed eventually, so that'll brown up your green baits.
  8. if you're using a microwave and want to make clear baits, either buy degassed or degas it yourself. dark baits you wont see a difference.
  9. brown / amber / orange you could get that by mixing any of those. even yellow too
  10. i havent tried glass beads yet but my stance is as follows: salt is cheap & non toxic. maybe the glass is non toxic but i dont want that stuff loose around my house/shop either for myself or for my pets. the only reason to switch would be to get clear baits, that looks like a bonus. in terms of durability, id rather catch 20 fish on 20 baits than 5 fish on 1 bait.
  11. cooler temps (that will also help your salt suspend better) put either a socket or a 1/2" copper coupling on top of each sprue.

    Swirls

few different ways to do swirls, if you are spinning, you have to take into consideration how fast you inject with how fast you spin. if you are pulsing injectors it has to be very small pulses and it'll work better with larger cavity molds.

    Delmart Molds

dish soap and a brush will keep your molds clean for a long time
  14. well a small part of it is the super hog is way thinner, so it lets light through it easier. add some hot pink to the senkos!
  15. are you really sponsored by bawls? i used to be hooked on those
  16. spin casting for plastic is really just more effort than you need, gravity or hand injectors do the trick just fine.
  17. its really not worth it to mess around. for 50 bucks or less you can buy one that wont fail. if you really want a cheap one get a metal one from lowes or home depot type store for grilling. do not get anything that isnt metal.

    Color Help

the hilite is the tricky part!
  19. ive bought from bob before, hes a great guy from what ive experienced. had a small issue with one of the molds and he took care of it with no questions asked. seems like hes super busy lately but im sure hes still the same guy.
  20. white and black will do the trick

    Presto Pots

in the time it takes to heat up plastic in a presto pot, you can shoot just as many or more baits using small batches in the microwave. just my opinion
  22. i use salt or no salt, doesn't seem to matter much id have to agree fish tend to swallow salted baits faster / more often
  23. i've done it by using the smooth part of a 1/4" bolt (not sure the technical name for that part of the bolt) and hold it in the mold with jb weld.
  24. use google keep. done deal
