  1. Yes, the 32886 will work without any modifications. I use mainly the 5/0 hook for my swimbaits in the 3/4 and 1/2 oz.
  2. I like the Bullet Nose Jig Mold (Doit BDB-5-A) for my swimbaits. It pours 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4. I use the Mustad 32724 hook in 1/8 or 1/4 oz for my swimbaits that I use on my umbrella rigs because it has a lighter wire hook and I can straighten the hook if I get hung up rather than losing my entire rig. For my single swimbaits, I use the Mustad 32886 hook because I like a heavier hook on single swimbaits.........Just a little trick that I've learned, I cut just a tad of the nose off of my swimbait before I glue them on the head. It makes the nose straight across instead of rounded and they fit flush against the head.
  3. Thanks for posting these darkman. Great info from a first class dude.
  4. I believe the hook I use in my flat eye arky is the mustad 32798
  5. Which head does everyone use for tying bucktails for drifting for small mouth in the tailrace? Which ones get hung up the least? Do I need weedguard? Heavy or light wire hooks? What is the most common size head and hook? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I have some banana seed tabs that are very similar. Believe they came from fishingskirts.com
  7. I have tried the 32786 and it will not work unless you bend the hook.
  8. I recently got the bdb-5-a mold and it calls for the eagle claw 410 or 413 hooks. My question is, is their a mustad or some other hook that will fit in this mold. Im looking for a 5/0 or 6/0 to pour in the 1/2 and 3/4 ounce heads to use for big swim baits.
