  1. I have updated my Recipe list at lonestarbaitco.com. I havent had time to list them all on the web page yet but the free download is updated with 230 recipes. Enjoy
  2. I put together a lot of newbie starter info on my site along with the starter kits from the major companies, might help a little bit.
  3. Before you do anything, I would check out a ton of you tube videos (along with do's don'ts) This like all other hobbies is pretty expensive, and very rewarding. Watching some videos might give you a head start in the direction you want to go.
  4. You can also find a nice list of mold makers at lonestarbaitco.com, being fairly new you are likely to find a lot of other helpful info there as well.
  5. The easiest way is to go to lonestarbaitco.com and look for detailed pop molds super easy to seal under the video section.
  6. Hickory, had you made that bait from a pop mold you would have gotten every detail, if you really want to make those baits give it a try. I have a video that shows some of the things that can be accomplished in my sign.
  7. Are you sure? My color cookbook download has watermelon, 4 June bugs and pumpkin seed. Free download on my sign.
  8. I also have a free cookbook download PDF on my web page. (check my signature) it currently has 184 recipies, I would be happy to add any additional recipes if people could email them.
  9. If you go to my site you can print a PDF with 184 recipes. You will need to experiment some to get the colors you want but that should be a good starting point. Good luck
  10. And of course you can make great injection PoP molds. See my videos for details.
  11. Thanks! That's why I put them up for everyone. You can make anything you want with PoP molds.
  12. Another thing to keep in mind with patents is for example, the ridges and bumps, that could be the only patent and you are not "allowed" to duplicate that in any way shape or form. So if that is what they use on speed craw it's covered. You can usually find the patent number on the package and google search it. Also just FYI some of their patents have expired but they still have packaging with a patent number. The fluke bait is a good example.
  13. Actually injecting PoP molds works awesome, in most cases you don't even need to add "air passages" or reliefs because the air naturally slips out between the mold halves. See my link and go to detailed pop molds to get an idea of what is possible. You can easily make the injector hole with a 5/8 paddle drill bit. If you look at my detailed Senko video series you will see exactly how it's done.
  14. He asked for help because he is not getting the consistency he wants, there is no overthinking involved here. (Yet)
  15. Use a stainless steel screw or but in the bottle to get the colors mixed up real well. Also instead of cutting the bottle tip use small very sharp scissor to make an x in the top it makes it a lot easier to measure color. Mixing 4 cups at a time is a good bit for most of us. That seems to be an Inbetween amount, using a smidgen, dash pinch, could still give you off amounts, I'd go with a syringe if you don't want to count drops.
  16. Click on the link in my signature and go to the tutorial videos , I explain it step by step
  17. I hate it when I miss-spell sate=taste
  18. It's all preference, most of the people that add salt add it for weight, I don't use salt because it give the fish a different look, slower fall different action, fishermen seem to put a lot of people characteristics into a bass. Personally I don't think a bass spits a bait because it doesn't have salt. If it could sate the salt it would spit that nasty plastic out instantly, there is far more surface area of that then salt.
  19. Make yourself one out of PoP that's an easy one, hand pour should even work.
  20. It's the same formula as on my website, 7 drops school bus yellow 4 drops black 1 drop watermelon (optional) All colors from LC
  21. Don't ever feel bad about asking questions, I was floored when I found out I can make a nicer watermelon color using school bus yellow and black then I could using watermelon. Ask ask ask!
  22. There is a meeting, I can't believe no one told you. Saturday at 5:30 am, we all meet at the ramp it's a 20.00 entry fee and bring your own boat!
  23. He stated he had 3 bags of left over sand from around the house - I have used a ton (literally) of this stuff store bought sand Is very rarely dry.
  24. Bagged Sand can hold a lot of moisture - be sure to spread out the sand you plan on using and let it air dry.
