  1. Thanks rayburn guy! That's as easy as mud once you figure out how to find your pic's on your computer. Im not very tech savvy, but you made it easy enough for me to do it thanks again Rayburn guy. Here are the pic's of the lure I fished the other night, and the damage to it.
  2. I painted up a crank I needed for a tourny. the other day in a hurry and dipped it in gst let it dry to the touch and dipped it again and let it dry for a day. Last night I fished a small tourny. 3 hrs long, I threw the bait into brushpiles the whole night. I pulled it back out of the rod locker this evening to look at it, it had hook rash down to the plastic on one side on the other side it had a chip out of it where I hit something when I cast it, also it had some check marks on the top of the bait around the eyes and other places. I think the lacquer in the gst eats into the paint and mixs with the paint if that makes any sense? The next time I hope to have a few more coats of gst on it and more dry time. I tried to post pic's of it but I just can't figure out how to do it. Royce
  3. I fished the gst today. It seemed to hold up pretty well for the time, it seems to have hardened a little better than what it was a few days ago. So as of now I will continue using it untill it proves me wrong.

  7. Sorry guys! I just found the post on the flex coat. Dont know why the search didn't bring it up.
  8. Has anyone here tried the flex coat rod rap epoxy? If so how did it work? I hope I'm not repeating this I did a search and didn't find anything on it. Thanks
  9. Everyone here is spot on, on their suggestions. I really like Marks idea of the water and tupperware. I will give that a try. Thanks Mark
  10. I will fish them and continue to monitor them to see how it holds up.I
  11. RayburnGuy! I use this as a top coat on plastic hard baits. Nedyarb! this stuff burns into the paint so when it scratches it takes it a the way down to the plastic, I can dig my nail in that very easy. Maybe I will try and let the paint set longer after I paint and heat set it before I dip it to see if that changes anything.----Royce
  12. Cougarftd I left one hang in the garage for 2 or 3 days and the other one for approximatly 1 day before I hung them outside.
  13. A-Mac! Im not sure what the humidity was when I dipped them, but it was around 45% today while I had them hanging in the sun.
  14. I have tried the gst on several baits and they are both soft. I hung them outside all day today in 95 to 100 degree sunlight and I am still able to mar them with my finger nail. I guess I will wait the rest of the week to see if they harden up, any tips would be appreciated.
