  1. If it wasn't for them advertiser banners at the top, you likely wouldn't have a forum. I don't see why people get so up tight about self promotion. I can see it, if they don't contribute. There is so much promotion around here of companys not even holding a banner, But someone who does, gets flamed.
  2. Shipping comes down to how hard you wanna save money. You can shop it around and be right inline with anyone else. It also comes down to if you markup the shipping or not. I don't believe lureworks does. And I believe that is why they are less expensive. I can compete with anyone out there on shipping, I get excellent rates on ups shipments. And I pass it along to the customer. And I'm certain I can compete on barrels all day long with anyone on freight.
  3. Never thought about cooking first.
  4. Ours are from clear bags, we don't jack shipping or charge a small order fee. If there is a size you would liked to see carried let me know.
  5. Here you go, not a single drop of heat stabilizer. 6th reheat. Is a customers picture.
  6. High Rock Doesn't Have a tube mold yet. I really shouldn't have the category up there, I will say he is in the process right now of making one.
  7. That depends on the plastic. I can show you a pic of white thats been reheated 6x.
  8. Most inexpensive dryers aren't gonna remove all moisture. Especially if its real humid.
  9. Our store is hosted at 3dcart. they have the software and provide the hosting. they include a shared ssl. which would be fine for bait sales I believe. Or you can upgrade. Like anything else, they always have sales addons to lure you in. the base site for small businesses with like 100 products is 19.99 mo. There online 24 hr chat is priceless as well. Anything I can do to help out, feel free to ask away, I have built 100% of both our sites. Its really not that complicated once you get going at it. Our other site is hosted at Go daddy, that will change when the yr expires.
  10. What type of site you looking to do? A blog site. A store? Etc.
  11. income and excise tax are two totally separate things. Without proper business license, tax license etc. You open the door to legal troubles eventually. If your state has sales tax you are suppose to collect that of your product as well. And report and pay the state. Legal advice on the matter really should be from a professional in your state. If we tell you something and are inaccurate. You could operate unlawfully and be fined etc. I don't think anyone here wants to be responsible for that. Just my 2 cents worth.
  12. I havent did it yet. But someone suggested a old trolling motor. Should work very well. I plan to bend the shaft and pount the prop at a 45 degree angle to the bottom. I wondered how the motor heat would affect the plastic. Im figuring it will have zero effect. Set it on low and walk away for a hour or 2.
  13. Imo. Your best to start with a 2d cad program and learn the basics. They will come in handy later. There are a bunch of free 3d cad programs out there. But all will be limited in what you can do.
  14. If you have a old colorant bottle, Put a little worm oil or softener in it and flush the tip a bit. You likely could soak the tip in worm oil or softener and loosen it up as well. IMO worm oil is the best thing to clean injectors, colorant from your fingers, etc.
  15. What manufacturer of plastic? I heard some yellow regardless, and some do not.
  16. Nothing wrong with Bears system at all. Buy what you can afford. But lets not get mixed up here. These are two totally different approaches to the same objective. As I said it was designed to suit different levels of shooting. You cant compare apples to oranges. The stirring system was left out intentionally for affordability.
  17. Twinjector and complete rack is about 500. It is designed to suit different level of pouring needs. You can by the rack only and shoot for a hobby. Or add the heater and run production. Each system has a trade off weather it be cost, or more pieces to work with. In the end both are producing laminates.
  18. Colorant, plastic, Glitter, Upperhand scents, High Rock Molds. Double Barrel Rack System.
  19. I regularly shoot sticks with 0 salt a bunch, I fish them for myself, not selling them, a 4/0 hook takes it down nice and slow especially wacky rigged, I make huge stick baits tho. I have found the biggest advantage to using salt, is you can make your bait less durable, displace more plastic yielding more baits. And intern making larger margins. As was said, its all preference.
  20. I agree its awesome, so is the frog.
  21. Lol, i dont shoot every 1. I would like to, I just unwrap everyone and visually check them, re wrap and ship. Just for piece of mind. I bought some molds a few months back from the Bayou, and had to drill the sprue hole bigger to get it round, and the injector to fit in.
  22. Im likely high rocks biggest customer, i cant count off the top of my head how many I have ordered in the last 2 weeks, i check every mold before it goes out, he truly makes top notch molds. I'm proud to carry his product.
  23. I am fishing this worm now, it will be available soon. 6.5" 7/16 diameter fatest point. 1/8 at tail 1/4 at head. It fishes great, some tweeking is being done.
