  1. thanks for the help, I'll give this a try for sure.
  2. I have these LC100 blanks and they all float extremely well. Lol short of adding close to half an oz of suspend dots is there another more aesthetically pleasing weigh to make it close to suspending? Thanks in advance for the help. PondBoss

    Mcu Help

I ran out of Bloxygen and my MCU started to skim over. Can I scrape off the top coating that has started to dry and use Bloxygen to save the rest? Or would I just need to buy more? Where can I find more? I purchased mine on Ebay, but it's super expensive to buy, any suggestions? Thanks for the help. PondBoss
  5. Just try using one quick dip too. I've had issues when I've tried to do multiple coats such as bubbling and pealing. Single dunk and let it hang for a couple of days. Should be good to go.
  6. I've also purchased from Predator and have liked what I've received.
  7. I had a guy send me a jointed swim bait today. I've never painted a jointed bait before. Are there any tricks to doing it? It just seems like it'll be tough with all the moving parts. I use Epoxy for all of my clear coat I can't even imagine how that's gonna work out. Please help
  8. I agree with the above. I do use a few Createx paints, but the selection is so limited and so far away that Folk Art from Wal-Mart usually takes the cake. One thing I would recommend though would be to use colors like white, black, and red from Createx. Those colors always seem to give me the most issues from non airbrush paint.
  9. I contacted Nitro Lures and got an email back the next day. It seems that minimum order is 250 if you are buying 4 separate types of baits. So basically 1,000 piece order. Or 500 minimum if you are just buying one body style.
  10. Saw this idea back in 2012. Is it neat? Sure Personally I think it's a design to catch more fishermen than fish. Unless they are a suspending bait in super clear water where the fish are actually feeding by sight. All of other applications to me seem like it would make zero difference.
  11. None of the hardware stores in my town carry Devcon so I use Gorilla Glue that I get at Wal-Mart. It's only 5 minute so you gotta be quick, but it dries clear and is tough as nails.
  12. FIRST POST! I'm a bit of a newbie at this, but here is how I make my pumkinseed: 1. Pearl White (Folk Art) I don't have a system for thinning my paint just pour water first then add paint, always in that order. I like a consistency of milk. Cover the whole bait with 2-3 light coats, using hair dryer after every coat. 2. Laguna Blue (Createx) Cover the whole bait with this, again 2-3 light coats. The rattles should still be visible. 3. Scale masking - I use a shower lufa from wal-mart and binder clips to fasten it to the bait. 4. Pearl Green (createx) cover the whole bait again except for the belly. 5. Light brown (createx) down the back and stripes using a comb. 6. Pearl Gold (createx) along the belly blending the stripes 7. I think it's called tangerine orange (createx) around the eyes and gills 8. Stick on red eyes, cuz that's what I have 9. Add green extra fine glitter to my epoxy clear coat I forgot I added black dots behind the gills so that's like 7.5 The blue doesn't really show up well in the picture, but it's there in person for sure. Sorry I had to post a link, I don't know how to post pics here yet. http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a3d807b3127ccef321b98b7fdc00000030O00AbtGTZm1ZMWwPbz4C/cC/f%3D0/ls%3D00601253624720130627041223109.JPG/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/
