well as most know I have just got into pouring. Have several molds me and the wife have made and several injection molds we have bought. Here is some craws I did for my friend today. The twinjector is awesome btw!!! He wanted black sapphire, green pumpkin, watermelon/green pumpkin, and Okeechobee Craw. The Okeechobee Craw for some reason the blue showed up on both sides I guess it's more dominant? Anyways I though it did pretty good for my first attempt and just winging it. Anyways sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks been busy, but I enjoy this site and want to say thanks for all the help. You guys are awesome!!!

Sorry for all the questions just trying to get all the info I can get my hands on. Ok here it is. If you heat your plastisol then add color and glitter. Once it hardens and you reheat will it change the color any granted that you don't burn it?

Ok, the thermometer said the plastic was above 300 and I was able inject my mold and the baits turned out right. Heres where Im messing up. I watched numerous videos and read articles that said to heat up the injector by filling it then pushing it out then refilling again. For some reason I keep gumming the inside up. Im getting one pour then Im having to take the nozzle off and clean the inside of the injector out. Why is the plastic hardening inside the injector that quickly. Am I getting air in there some how, am I not getting it hot enough, or what? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My biggest thing right now is I cant figure out how to cook the plastic just right without getting it to turn yellowish. Should I do 1 minute then 30 second interval from there?

Yea I do feel fortunate she's wanting to do it. We even bought some plaster paris and some clay for her to mess around with making diferent molds. Shes a teacher so she's usually at home bored through the summer. I have some molds from basstackle and got the twinjector.

Hey everyone. This is my first post. I've been getting on here a lot and enjoy the forum. Have a few questions as my mold and injector arrived today. How much glitter is to much say per 4 ounces. Do I mix my scent into the plastic with my colorant, if so how much or do I just add it to the bags? Or both. Really looking forward to this and the wife is actually wanting to do it as well so that's a plus. We have a spare microwave to use in our shop.
