I was fishing with some young kids the other day and the bite was nonexistent, so I threw some bread out to get some bluegills to come out and I had an idea. Small bluegill and other baitfish were grabbing a piece of bread at the surface, then swimming back down to eat it. My idea would be to create a shallow crankbait that floated with its bill facing up, and the tail facing down so it would create a splash then swim down, to emulate this action. Do you think it's possible?
