I spray mine with 2 coats clear krylon first, then put sealer on, never had it wrinkle yet.

Go on ebay and shop around too, I found my iwata for a good price with a hose, aircompressor is personal preference and what your budget is, u need to make sure u have a moisture trap too.

Try using denatured alcohol or vegetable oil.

I quit using that and went to using a reducer that createx makes.

I use the createx reducer they sell at Hobby Lobby. Water works but I was getting tip dry really quick. So I made a change and U don't need much.

Yea, I got an Iwata eclipse, Awesome gun cause it will do acrylics and lacquer based paints. Now be patient and u will find one cheap enough. I bought mine on ebay and it had no defects. Cheap airbrushes ain't the way to go if u are serious about painting.

Ben's right, alot of lure manufactures make things for just themselves and put a patent on it. I experienced this with roostertail. I spoke to them on the phone because I was looking for a particular color and size. They helped me but because it was one of their exclusive colors it wasn't on their website and could only be found in certain stores. The lady finally helped me locate them but like I said they were hard to get and when I found them I took everyone they had.

The eagle supreme has some nasty fumes, I take the lid off and put just enough in a small mixing cup and then put the lid back on quickly. Then brush on my bait and put the rest back in can. Of course I hold my breath during the process.Hehe

I got another idea, that will work too, take that piece of lexan and drill a hole thru it like a 1/4 inch or maybe 5/16 and then take a machine screw nut and epoxy it to the the outside of the lexan and insert the proper size bolt and then the hole will never wear out and u can still do the same method as before as cut a slot in the bolt and then u wouldn't have to pull it out as far. -

I thin my paint with water using a eye dropper. I practice on printer paper and adjust my air before I even touch my lure. But there is so many neat colored paints out there from acrylic to solvent base. just make sure u get a good airbrush, I got my Iwata on ebay just shop around.

Oh no, I will not buy china garbage, I will only buy from well known people or make my own. I found a convo on this website about how when u go to the Icast shows there are people there that just browse and steal original designs to make a profit of their own.
