  1. Yep AnglingAI molds are great. Check out Enforcer bait molds & baitjunkys too. They make top shelf molds too.
  2. I usually clamp on all 4 corners. I’ve got some molds that seem easier to get flashing on than others so I clamp all 4 corners & then put one on each side of the injection port. I use the plastic spring clamps from Walmart so it only takes a few seconds to apply them anyway so no big deal.
  3. Mark i've been looking for info on the medium/hard. How do you like it? I'd be using it for most everything & hadn't found anybody that was using it. Thanks
  4. Man sorry to hear that, but the way people are ignoring our governors executive order to not gather into groups they probably will here too before it's over. Idiots are holding some pretty good sized tournaments even though the governor has specifically said no tournaments.
  5. I don't have my recipie in front of me, but the ruby red i make has red, yellow & a very small amount of white colorant in it with a some medium red flake & it's very close to zooms. I make 4 ounce batches of it. On the white i'm talking about the very tip of a metal skewer so that it doesn't bleach it out to much. I'll try to remember to get it out of the garage tomorrow if needed. What colors do you have to try to make it with? I use my ruby red jig trailers on a black& red hair jig to catch smallmouth at night & they like it. Especially in the moonlight. I looked on landbigfish & see a couple different chameleon colors. One is a brownish pumpkin looking one & one is a reddish one. Which one are you interested in?
  6. Possibly even use a very minute drop of black like a pin head or so worth to give it a tad of a smoke look & with the blue colorant & load it up with small blue flake/
  7. I’d try just a little pthalo blue colorant & load it up with flake. I believe that will get you extremely close of it looks like it does on my phone screen.
  8. I agree on the 706 craw & Curt at enforcer molds has some very good quality & affordable craw molds too.
  9. There's a thread i started called ukranian injector problem 4 threads down where i tell what authentic handmade said the o ring sizes for the 120 ml/ 4 ouncer takes.
  10. $200.00 to your door.
  11. Check out the sticky up top for mold makers & go through their inventories. You can usually find about anything you want. Basstackle molds is pretty popular with most of us.
  12. Glenn, i cut the grooves in the tubes of the ukranian injector & changed o rings to some caterpillar o rings a guy i work with had that had just a tad less thickness & it's easy now to remove the tips. Thanks for the picture of yours.
  13. Hm. I don't know what could be causing that then. Sorry i couldn't help.

    Injectors

Basstackle every time. I have one of the ukraine 4 ounce twin injectors with blending block that i'd sale cheap, but you'd have to put new o rings in it & probably make a notch to remove the ends like Musky Glenn did his.
  15. I just click on the individual pics & they open.
  16. Some plastic soaks up more oil then others. Worm oil is a plastisizer which is added to a synthetic resin to add flexibility etc. so it naturally soaks into baits made with it. Kind of the nature of the beast. You can always apply more right before you use them although the oil will wash off when you fish them.
  17. Has anybody used it instead of medium & what did you think? I’m talking for stuff like brush hogs, worms, jig trailers, ned rig baits etc. pretty much using it for everything as a replacement for the medium. Thanks
  18. Jazzatomo, , 3 cm outer diameter & 3 mm thickness is what he said.. This is for the 120 ml dual injector.I'm going to try some o rings at work so we'll see what i come up with. If the guys i work with have the right size silicone o rings that's what i'm going to try.
  19. Glenn, that would definitely work. I talked to the manufacturer ( authentic handmade) & he says the o rings are pushing it on size so that the ends don't come off very easy & told me the exact size he uses so i'm trying replacing them first. If that doesn't satisfy me i'll be doing that. I don't use it since i have a single 6 ounce basstackle & also a basstackle twinjector, but figured if i cured it i'd let another member have it real cheap to help them out if anybody was interested. Thanks
  20. Most plastic has to get to around 350 to fully cook. You'll more than likely have to let it cool a little to where the plastic will build on your dipping rods depending on how thick you want the walls on your first dip. If heating in a microwave different colors will get thinner then others so you'll have to worry about usability more so than temp after the initial heating until it's gets to cool to use. You'll get it pretty quick with a little experimentation. Sorry for the way i replied as far as actual temp info, but this is just what i found when dipping tubes myself. I never use a thermometer after i have a pretty good handle on what my microwave takes to get to temp, but definitely recommend one until you get yours down pat.
