  1. Lureworks hi temp polyester glitter. I’ve never had a single problem with theirs. When I use the other brands up that I have lureworks will be all that i’ll use along with their colorants.
  2. How about the 2 cup anchor measuring cups? I use my 1 cup the most, but the 2 cup will do it for sure.
  3. A lot of times i inject my angling ai tube mold for 2 color tubes if i want the tail a different color then the body & then hand dip the body. Works pretty well if you're making a bunch because the angling ai mold i have shoots 5 at a time. I'll make green pumpkin with rootbeer pepper green tails a lot & it works very good for me. You can also hand dip & keep more plastic in the microwave ready to go to add to the cup you're dipping out of to keep it topped of deep enough for dipping if you don't have or want to buy a mold. Frank i think it is keep his plastic warm on a griddle so you could also do that to keep enough backup plastic ready to be able to top off the dipping cup.
  4. I agree with Frank that if you don't order from them anymore you are losing out on some great products. Quite possible the the weather has caused problems. I've had orders from other places be late when major storms stopped the dead in their tracks.
  5. I have over 20 cnc aluminium molds & have 4 of the artificial stone molds from bugmolds for things i couldn't find elsewhere. Clamp them in all 4 corners & you shouldn't get any flashing. I have never used oil either & my baits haven't stuck letting them cool for 3 minutes before removing them. Other than having a duller finish than cnc aluminium molds I have absolutely no problem with them.
  6. Yep flashing is what i'm going to go with too.
  7. I have never had a problem with them whatsoever & have gotten my orders on time.
  8. i'll have to say it has pretty much been a dead end road trying to find anyone with his cd. Erick definitley has been trying to find something on it for years for sure.
  9. Joel, i sent your video to a buddy yesterday. Him & his son are really getting into making baits & he's a tube finatic too. lol He loved the video & couldn't believe how easy it actually was to hand dip tubes. I figure the video would help answer a lot of questions. Thanks for posting it.
  10. Says brand new & never used on bass boat central in the miscellaneous forum for 785 bucks shipped. Had 2 pots, controller, dual injector etc. Figured i post this here in case anyone was looking for something to pump out a bunch more baits. Good deal for sure.
  11. Man that is some serious talent right there.
  12. Guys i don't know if this will help any or not, but if you click 2 or 3 times it should open big enough to read easily. This was posted on wmi or something like that once & i took a pic with my phone just so i'd have it if it was needed. Sorry it's not his cd, but it should help.
  13. Frank, thanks & i will buy another 6 ouncer when i need it. Like you said i probably will use it when shooting single colors too to up the output.
  14. Ok thanks. I appreciate the tip.
  15. Very nice. Angling ai mold ? I'm going to try laminating some when my twin injector gets here.
  16. Thanks guys. I'll buy bigger injectors a little later since i bought a 3 ouncer if i need it. I have a single 6 ouncer already & have over 20 molds, but most of them i won't make two color baits with anyway. It will be for making a couple colors for myself that i kept to myself & won a lot of money on one specific lake with & then of course they quit making them & i ran out after buying every pack i found of them. I may try using it on my angling ai tube mold too
  17. Yep I like basstackles injector too.
  18. What size injectors does most everyone use with a twin injector system? Thanks
  19. I kind of thought so to, but wasn’t sure.
  20. No problem & glad to help. Funny how after getting answers from the guys on here how easy making soft plastics is. I have gotten torn up trying to figure out ways to do things & then one of the guys here tell me how & it was hard to believe how simple some of these things can be done & how bad we over think it most times. lol
  21. Grind some 1/4 or 5/16 inch bolts off & round the end. Josh at angling ai also has them made from aluminium for his tube molds & they work great. You could get some aluminium rod & round the ends off yourself too. Lurecraft also has a tube dipping tool that you can purchase. I made my own from 5/16 bolts & made a round piece of flat steel to connect them to & added a handle. Lots of options to choose from. I have an angling ai tube ,old too & it does a great job. After injecting them i cut the tails in a homemade press modeled after lurecrafts deluxe tail splitter & then roll them in salt & bag them. When hand dipping without the injection mold i use the same process. Really pretty easy to do either way.
  22. Black& blue jig, jigging spoon, chartreuse blue back 6xd, green pumpkin or junebug baby brush hog & tube.
  23. I would think it would work fine like Mark said by using a tight grained hardwood & sealing it good.
  24. You talking about BS ? He simply said that the shooting star was a lot less headache. I personally don't think he meant a thing by that.
