    Tubes

Using medium plastic mine do too After curing good they still feel spongy from being thicker then the injected bait, but work fine.
  3. No the mold is not on the angling ai website. Only on lurecrafts site.
  4. Cut tails today. I will have to say i am really impressed with this mold. As much as i fish tubes it will make it's fair share for sure. If anyone is looking at purchasing a tube mold don't hesitate. Top notch product in every way in my opinion.
  5. I've heard Leonard is great when it comes to customs& the quality is as good as it gets.
  6. I personally don't think you can beat Leonard. Makes top notch products & always takes the time to answer any questions anyone may have. If this is Rick i guess i needn't buy another mold from him for sure.
  7. A baby brush hog & super hog will look different due to the super hog body being bigger in diameter. The tails will look different between the two when help up to a fluorescent light due to tail thickness.
  8. Buy a microwave & some pyrex cups. You'll be glad you did. I bought one & now have several 1 & 2 cup pyrex cups, a digital thermometer, several spoons etc. I now have several molds of baits & trailers that i constantly use for myself & don't regret it a bit. .Infact i just bought a tube mold tonight & a plastic cutter to cut the tails. It's an expensive hobby, but a rewarding one as i haven't bought any baits since i started injecting my own & got the molds i wanted. My buddys get most of theirs from me too since they pretty much use the same things i do. I started assembling my own spinnerbaits & jigs last year to suit me too. There's nothing like catching fish on your own stuff. Especially when you stop at tackle shops & only need a little dye for your tails. Needless to say the walls of my garage look like bass pro shops. lol
  9. I've ordered 2 molds from him & April kept me informed we'll. My molds each shipped within 3 days & a tracking number was provided as well.
  10. I may have been lucky, but I've ordered two 4 inch shz molds from delmart & had each in 3 days. I will continue to do business with him until I get burnt o guess.
  11. I caught over 40 smallmouth last Saturday night in the full moon while my buddys fishing with me caught less then 20 on jigs together. Needless to say they want me to hurry & get the tube mold. Lol I love fishing tubes for smallmouth needless to say & am very confident when I'm fishing one as it is one of my top fishing strengths.
  12. Yes Dave i do. I will also be ordering the tail cutter from lurecraft. Thanks
  13. I getting ready to buy the 4 inch taper tube from angling ai myself. Makes 5 at a time & you can get an extra set of mandrels to speed things up if wanted.
  14. I have bought colorant from spike it & lurecraft so far, but will be trying others as well.Have bought plastisol from spike it & baitjunkys too. Both work great.
  15. Why is salt crucial in tubes? Will they not work well without it if fished Texas rigged with a weight? I always use 3/8 & Texas rig them to fish here. Thanks & sorry for the hijacking of this post?
  16. Thanks & I'll go & check them out. Just trying to come up with something user friendly & microwave safe & have minimal waste at the same time. Thanks
  17. Thinking about horizontal tube dipping like Bohon did. Is there anything like the old antique pyrex butter dishes that would be microwave safe? I thought this would make it easier to do if a person could find something like this. Any suggestions ? Thanks
  18. No sorry, but lately I've been using pretty much the basic colors & mixing them to make my colors with. I haven't been at it very long either.
  19. Did this work? Did this work?
