  1. Dave i squirt some in the bag to lubricate my soft plastics. I don't like dry baits & neither do my buddys that get baits from me.
  2. I forgot to order worm oil so what can i get at walmart that would work & not hurt the plastic or color until i get some? Thanks
  3. I ordered the snake head jig trailer from him lastnight so I'll let you know what it's like sfter I get it & shoot it.
  4. He said it was wedge shaped & 3/8 at front & 1/2 inch at rear. After taking a pic & making it bigger on my phone & looking at it i think i will get it when i buy another mold. I'm confident it would work pretty good on jigs for my use. If my 597 that i run by at night hadn't crapped out on me in the fog the last time out i would already have it. lol
  5. I've used just about every color walmart & hobby lobby have . I put the cheap stuff in right before i shoot & have had absolutley no problems whatsoever. When i first tried it i put it some red in before heatig & it lost it's coating & turned silver. Haven't had a single problem since i started doing it this way & the effects of it along with the .40 hex high temp polyester glitter are pretty nice.
  6. I use spike it colorant & like it. A whole lot easier to buy & use it then to try other things like that. These guys know their stuff so they're not gonna steer you wrong.
  7. He emailed me back yesterday. Thanks
  8. I need to try a craw trailer mold too. Lol My favorite trailer of them all is the zoom swimming chunk, but I really need to get a craw mold to make some good natural looking crawls too. Thanks
  9. Yep looks like it. Oh well it was worth a try. I'll either hand pour or buy the snake head mold from Jacobs molds. Thanks guys.
  10. Montess, thanks but I'm wanting something with tails along the lines of the zoom swimming chunk or the tails on the hand pour that lurecraft puts out.. Any ideas?
  11. Does anyone have their snakehead swimming trailer? Anyone know the thickness of the head? How are they to order from through their site? I sure haven't managed to be able to get in touch with them ' & tried phone & email both.
  12. Dave, I understand that & have read quite a bit about zoom going after the little guys. I thought maybe someone had an injection mold that was kind of similar as I like a lot of action on my trailers. Looks like I'll be buying on from Jacobs then. Thanks I appreciate the help.
  13. There must not be. I've looked everywhere I can think of too. Googled it hard too. You would think zoom would be using one from the looks of theirs though. Thanks
  14. Who makes a mold close to the zoom swimmin chunk? I know jacobs has what he calls a snake head swimming trailer & thought Delmart had one, but don't see it. Would like to have something close to the zoom. I have 3 of the silicone handpour swimming chunks molds from lurecraft that work fine, but would still like to inject them if possible. Thanks
  15. Ben, i understand that & it can be one expensive hobby as well. My nextt mold will probably be a hollow tube mold as i love fishing tubes myself. I bought the solid tube style mold from enforcer & it works great too. My buddy & i have caught several fish on it & we've caught 2 smallmouth over 5 lbs on it in the 2 weeks i've had it.
  16. why not pour your own without salt?
  17. Wish I had known this last week. Lol
  18. Yep what Dave said. I've got some junebug colored stuff that looks like it's got 6 different colors of glitter & it 's only got 2. Trying to convince someone getting baits from you can get plumb comical sometimes when trying to explain to them it 's only got the color flake they asked for. Lol I have made batches to show them before to prove it.
  19. Looks to me like it's a light grape or purple with a drop of blue.
  20. Had to post results on this bait. Mold came yesterday & i only shot it twice which is 6 baits. Had several smallmouth on it with the best weighing 5 pound 6 ounces.
  21. i haven't been at it long, but am addicted. Be prepared to spend some money.
  22. Oh Yeah. I figure it will work well for pitching & flipping into heavy cover.
  23. I haven't even recieved the mold yet, but i plan on texas rigging it for smallmouth & may also fish it o a jig head. Without salt the tails tails should pretty decent acyion when fished on a jig head i would think. Guess we'll see.
  24. Yep that's it. Thanks Bass-Boys.
  25. Erick, that's exactly what it's called. 4.5 inch tube type mold. Ism 't really a tube as it's solid instead of hollow with some smaller round tails on it.
