Hello All, I need to clear coat some spinnerbaits and was wondering if anyone has ever tried clear no-chip nail polish? If so how does it hold up? I only have a couple dozen to paint and nail polish is pretty cheap. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

I want to put a minnow outline on the clear blade and fill a middle stripe of glitter w/ a white body and white/silver skirt (to get the thump but a smaller presentation of the bait fish) I might even double blade it. I was out the other day fishing and it seemed like every fish on the river were chasing these minnows about 1 to 2 inches long but we translucent and not even looking at my spinner and cranks. I have never seen a minnow that big so clear. I don't know if it will work but everything is worth trying once right? lol

I cant seem to find any of these clear blades. I have a couple ideas to use them. Can anyone help me locate a few?
