i use kosher salt ground into powder and it works great for me......your not going to find a perfict match..just what works for you....i use a magic bullet for grinding salt one cup at a time....nothing gets it finer...

you might be better off hitting the local docks and giving some baits away with a card to your web page .....i give alot of plastics away and get alot more back for remelts from friends of friends of friends...i dont sell my baits. but, just give them to people to try....I mostly like getting a big bass on in front of someones dock and they ask what I got it on....boy that works........there faces light right up.....well worth it....good luck

sorry I didn't get back sooner....he just cleans them and soaks them over night then 1st thing in the morning he puts them on the rack..kind of like salmon cuts big hunks and smokes also dose suckers theres a big run in northern Michigan every year. and hes in on that...those are good to..but the piece I take is less then a spoon size...im not a fish eater at all and just to keep him happy I guess...he gets hundreds of suckers...

my welder at the shop gave me a few 3 ft lenths of stainless steel . so i would think any weld shop could help you we have up to 1/4 dia. he gave me 3/32 thick but has smaller to.. i have not tryed to bend it yet..using it on a few muskie baits....

i really dont think the knurl would matter..you got your gloves on just grap it and twist..its that easy...if they added a knurl im thinking another machine step and more cost to the guy/girl buying it...

snow today,about 1 inch so far ,its lite so cant see much more....its great so far ...2 more months and the melt down starts........oh wait..........nothing frozen yet......lol

cold out west....lol just got over a ice storm with 2 inches of ice...but not on the lakes.....and i even stood on the docks knowing the fish were on the other side of the lake.....( and made a few cast into the water...)

just wrap wire around a nail put both end in the plier and pull ... twist right around.......easy button...push......lol
