  2. a great cheap home cnc mill look up TORMACH.COM my buddy has the 1100 for doing small jobs and makes bank with it 15,000 to 21000 grand...financing too just like a car payment.....
  3. i picked up 20 very lg. cookies sheets made from alumimun that bakers use and made a rack to slide them into...funny thing i dont make alot of baits just for me and buddys i take on the lake for that day..i got them for $2.00 bucks ea...there huge but work well as the aluminum gets a chill to it over night out in the garage and the baits are ready by morning.....check those scrap yards...i also have two big large aluminum pots im working on to get my production going .that will make my baits faster.......why did i get into this...i keep asking myself..but the fun part is when the new guy gets told that i made the baits eyes get big...WHAAAAT....LOL after 100 smallies .. big bakers cookie sheets work well thick aluminum

    I Fish :

a friend asked why i fish? i fish : for the chaallenge . !!!! please add why you fish. start with : I FISH.
  7. well been watching and think its not so bad after all...i think if you could insert this into a spook or jitterbug type lure it could really work well....please dont go cheap with this toget it to market.if thats your end result..make your baits a better looking bait and not a cheap china bait ...thats were i think others have gone wrong....a better looking bait to a fisherman will sell more lures then a cheap painted pos. you have done good and are quite smart in your quest for a better way.........GREAT JOB
  8. i cant figure out why you would have 12 cups to grind....that right there is a lot of waste.. unless your running pots ? and maybe you should be putting the sprue back in to the pot.or you just bought a bunch of sprue from someone? I have never tried or heard of that..but if it works go for it....I for one wouldn't have that much laying around as when I'm making baits I'm always remelting as I go...
  9. meat grinder ? i dont think i have ever heard of a meat grinder to cut up old plastic ..and why? a good set of scissors is all that is needed cut up to 1/4 or 1/2 inch...3 mins in the micro and your shooting baits...no mess..
  10. ive fished a 3/4 wood dowel rod added hooks and out fish my son over and over..no paint nothing ...just a pice of wood we even casted next to each other and the bass hit my bait first most of the time...he keeps my bait in his box to show his friends when there out.....it works it really dose....try it....a better paint job sells the bait but I don't really think its needed to catch a fish...fish are fish they don't think like people they think like fish..most of the time a bass hits its prey to see if he/she likes it if not out it goes and he/she moves on...there instinctive hunters for food and will hit most things moving in front of them..looks mostly don't matter to it.
  11. oh cut up the old real good make them small pcs.
  12. never had any issues with remelting salted baits....i do it all the time...I add about a few ounces of fresh plastisol and go for it...first micro re heat is 1 min. then every 30 sec.it you got full melting and temp...
  13. here i thought i found something...dam
  14. my air compresser sits outside in the garage ..drilled a hole into the basement ran a pipe with to air fittings and a big valve in the basement can hook up to 6 lines...never heard a sound from it..but not that I can paint..mostly used for taking small motors apart for rebuilding....
  15. https://imaginationinternationalinc.com/copic/101/airbrush-system/ found this link in a fly tie mag anybody try this yet????
  16. very nice looking baits
  17. mark use wd-40 and spray it on the mold it wont let any aluminum stick to it/ or spary the cutting tool ...a carbide burr and dermel will work to by hand but your finish will be jumpy
  18. i dont understand the need of a pilot diameter on the injector itself....why not just a full ball radius on the tip? to many times my injector stuck in the molds and had to pull it out....do-it mold basstackle injector ..I took the tip in the shop and turned .025 off the pilot diameter..works fine now...I would say not all molds are the same I had trouble with a bears mold sticking to....but I think the full radius tip would work better
  19. your best bet it triton itself . but its a 2001 ,ebay ?

  21. ok thanks again frank...they really do look good and im sure will work just fine
  22. looks good frank ......question on the coloring dose the black smaller egg change the main coloring of the bigger egg...? on my computer the main egg looks red.......
  23. i have four basstackle 2 are for my twinjector and the other 2 are used if a buddy stops by while im making baits . i put them to work to....not that i have alot of molds but i just dont let them stand around
  24. maybe try this try a hand pour on the first side with the mold open fill each egg hole just a little. drop in a preshot smaller egg close it up and shoot the rest...should work for you...
