try rigging it wacky with a fat circle hook....the bass just love em that way...up north that is......

the sharpie is the best and cheapest... frank had a good one....but the sharpie dose it best ..I stood next to a guy using a real spawn bag and out fished him 5 to 1 he couldnt figure it out till I let him in on it...my cluster was killing him....and my fake stuff was purchased at dicks ..I washed the eggs towel dryed then put a dot on each egg......it really works...I was shocked by it...but good luck

black sharpie marker works for us on the river...

dose anyone know if they make a paint mixer for the little bottles of paint that we use....i looked at hobby lobby....sure would beat shaking the crap out of it....

the roso craw is a great mold from bear...wishing it was a little bigger but i still like it ..

ok so i have a bait done i need to put a bill in and hook hangers..i used balsa wood and it was really easy to do i was surprized at how the sanding went cleaned it right up...now its a million dollar bait so no pics yet...lol can i just paint it then seal it will devcon or seal it with something else re sand and paint then devcon.??? what do i use for the bill..id hate to order some thing thats to big....

maybe ask one of the mold makers to see if they will help you out...

i hope it works out for you but like the rest it dosent really go anywhere...i hope your bait isnt a cheesey one like the others..it just seams that fisherman like the hunt..i for one wouldn't want to watch a bait moving around by itself and wait for the bite..i want to make the fish bite by what I have worked so hard at to learn...that to me seams to be the best part...my dad and grandpa took me out and showed me the way to catch fish..i showed my son and grandkids.....see how that works.....if I was to buy your lure and show my kids your way I think I would be on the couch playing video games....my son and his kids don't and didn't play video games...we learn them the outdoors ......just my thought ..but please don't put all your eegs in.....good luck...

a good friend of mine has a scale making roller he uses when mounting fish its a hard wheel that looks just like a scale pattern on a fish ,...when he has to add clay to the mount he just rolls that across it works great wonder if it will work for this....you really cant tell after painting....

i dont think you really need to unless you have painted it...i fish rocky flats alot and im banging the bill off the rocks and i think it would just chip off ..alot of the warts i fish are all beat up on the bill and body but there not coated at all....

those mustad snaps work great i use them..there really good for crappies when using a bobber and minnows..i like them a lot better then the snap loc style....

im thinking thats what id like to do carve it and paint...im guessing hobby store for wood and tools...
