sand worked...or glass lol the popcorn salt is hard to come by in larger containers or bags...i found it in walmarts or meijers but it was a small container...and not cheap....i do a cup or two of koser salt in the bullet and it works out fine never had a harding issue or clumping....just dont store it outside after im done with my baits what i have left comes inside with me....if you like salted baits you need to get a bullet you illbe happy you did....

madd dad is a must for any bass fisherman...im just cleaning up the smallies with them baits.......mine are the 4in..get one...

did good 7 bass using the madd dad 4inch.from do-it... worked great with lots of action.....my new plastic for sure.....

i just got a gal.for do-it and love it...much better then bears.alot less smoke and smell...i just do baits for myself and friends...and got word from my son that the baits had more action......ill be out fishing today and let you know ...mine is crystal clear reg.

few shots of BANG in the bag or on the bait and thats all i worry about...the garlic is the best for my fishing waters...st.clair and lk.erie...the smallies just love the stuff. i will say this...to me i wont get on the water with out it..it has sold me time and time again......we tested it alot ...proved it over and over...i have let friends have the front of the boat while i fished theused water in the back and out fished them 5 to 1..some times more.....if you a walleye guy....wd-40 again in the great lakes water...trolling hands down out fished the same baits over and over.....

what molds are you using....i had some issues with bears stick mold . the top two would not fill or had air pockets....i made a extender for the mold and get great baits every time...dont push to fast slow and steady works best. let the air move out as the hot plastic moves in.....then top off as your bait sucks in more plastic...

that might work but who wants there fingers full of jelly....im not tooting my horn but pam is the way to go...cheap easy and no mess or clean up...you can even use the off brand..couple shots down the tube and your ready to get to work......thats it.....

no its more like a blender its call a magic bullet...i use koser salt put a cup in at a time and the that thing do its job...makes it like powder the finer the salt the better your bait...its the best for tubes..i use to use popcorn salt that was fine..but this thing beats that salt hands down...you can get them at wal-marts and i see them in garage sales.....you wont get the salt any finer....just do little at a time...

seams to me its more of a mess...buy ill have to get a cup from the shop and give it a go ..but im thinking ill stay with the salt....its funner pissing the wife off when i use the little bullet to grind my salt finer...

thats the same sand they use for sand blasting?

the kool aid works.....i was shocked but it works.....also works on salmon eggs.....i just wonder if the companys that make the egg cure arent using it to...lol

the gitzit tube dont hold up here in lk. st. clair....way to soft and thin...your better off dipping and making your bait thicker and stronger...

ok ill help out on this one...if you want to dip tube baits heres my way..i took a 6 in piece of 2inch tubing had a local weld shop tig weld a 6 inch round by 3/8 inch thick piece to the bottom to seal off one end..i heat my plastisol in the micro put my tubing on a hot plate keeping it warm and pour the plastisol in to it...i use a butter knife to mix it up so i get no hot spots then dip my rods in and hang them.....works all day long but remember this i only turn the plate on number 3 to 4 and check the temp all the time ..IT WILL BURN REAL QUICK.....start at number 2and work your way up.......have fun....you can use any size tubing you want up to the dia. of your plate.. cost me a 12 pk of bud to have the guy weld it ..you can go to a scrap yard for the aluminum stock...its cheap there...and they have alot of it....

yea franks the man..lol that's how I got started I seen a few videos on you tube and bam...hook line and sinker...thanks frank...micros and pyrex is what I use ..but im just in it for me...something about catching a big bucket mouth in front of your buddys and they all want to know what your using...funny happens all the time..or when you catch a few big bass at the lake and people around see that's a plus.. then you drop the custom bait on them..boy everybody wants to buy...

I have a question and in need of some help to find a mold ...I have never been a big fan of swim baits intill now. well I guess I just never seen the right one..but this bait is a work horse...15 bass lastnight 25 more this morning..WOW what a bait...so im lookin for a mold or someone that will make a mold similar to this bait..at $8.99 a 5 back ouch...looking for a alum. inject mold ..I understand the copy right laws and these baits will be for my use only....im not asking for any one to copy it but just get close per say..i think its more the color and action..
