  1. with the melt down coming and the lakes are opening up . id like to get a new mold for walleyes looking for a 3in or 4in mold for river fishing walleyes.. my question is who makes the best one for this style of fishing...I know a grub mold would be easy to do and all might look the same ..but what have you used that would work for me..a ring mold would be good to...we are fishing ohio waters off lk erie...intill Detroit river ice flows stop ..then the boat comes out for the real fun...the ohio water is real muddy so id like to make some real good custom colors for myself and buddys....
  2. maybe send the mold back to the maker and see what they can do with it to get it to shoot better for you...call them first before you try to work on it yourself..once you work on it they wont touch it......

  7. I make for myself and few friends...I use to sell on ebay..but ebay took the fun out of it...there price increases killed the resale market...I was buying wholesale from top lure companys..( megabass the biggest ) and got to the point that the profits went right to ebay...for the plastic side of it I had to lower my pricing to sell product because the next guy was cheaper....but I always keep enough product on the boat to sell at the docks.....

I just offered to make some for the person who started this question...but pissed chapped or what ever you want to say ..im not ..I will look for a good mold and try the bait myself this year to see if it works for me....but most of the bass I catch from st.clair and erie come from tubes and crankbaits....your baits look nice and you did a good job.. but really why are you here..for some to pat you on the back?...pat pat...

  17. I live in Michigan and use a non heated shed in the winter to play around..i have a griddle to get the molds up to temp a micro for the plastic and two pyrex cups for the plastic I have the plate up full 450 I think preheat my cups on the griddle molds and injector to..heat plastic up in cups in the micro at same time get the gloves on mix the plastic well keep heating it and mixing to get the heat even in the plastic then pull the twin off the griddle dump in plastic ,purge and shoot...I get a few shots in before I got to start all over....on the cheap side I go to the salvation army to get my pyrex griddle or anything else....check out franks video on how to use the twin jector look at the griddle he has I made a cover from aluminum plate like what he has to keep the heat in...good luck once I inject I go right outside with the mold to cool it faster....your no going to get much but a few is good DONT HEAT IN YOUR HOUSE OR USE THE SAME MICRO THAT YOU USE FOR FOOD.....
