just wondering if anyone tried a copper base coat before chrome..i sanded down a old chrome bomber and the base coat was copper not black.....we also chrome parts in the shop and had to have a few stripped ..base coat copper. just wondering if the copper has any thing to do with a better chrome finish

the last strike king lure i bought was the kvd squarebill when they first came out i remember kvd winning a tournament on the sexy shad color ..so i had to have it i went to 5 dicks stores and payed at that time just under $4 for them i got all they had kept 5 for myself and ebayed the rest.....i was getting $15 ea...what a bait that turned out to be...funny how the big O came back into play..now after learning how to paint ive bought my last bait for sure...

ive seen some holographic scotch tape at wal mart in the craft area anyone try that..its not the scotch brand.. i think it said duck on it..

i just get all the fat off stretch them with pins on a board salt dry and good to go...ive had them like that for a few years ..do a few buck tails to fish and thats it...

anyone have one or use one to make your cranks ? i just picked one up not working for $50 ..set screw was loose and the speed handle would just turn with no speed....cant wait to make some baits...what a buy!!!!

i found a roll in home depot..was just thinking if anyone has tried this stuff.. i have a few spinnerbaits with copper blades that the pike just love...my son uses copper jigs ice fishing perch on lk st clair.so i was just wondering if any big bait makers have tried that look.....just putting it out there..i would think someone could make a big carp bait for pike and muskie fishing.....id like to try myself .but cant seam to get good action from a few carvings....im working on a lipless balsa bait now..hopping to just have a single treble belly hook.but thinking the tail might whip to much...ill see if i can get a pic up...hell it worked.....

just seen that theres copper tape anyone ever use it..?...and if so did it tarnish are change color?

bob cant compare 10k machine to 100k machine 3 phase cant get in my state as a home owner .this machine is for putting in your basement or garage...runs on 110 volts plug and play...
