WOW.. i see some great work in the gallery..im just starting to paint . did a handful so far..and i just keep looking back at all the lures out there and see alot of hard and dedicated work......alot of them blow me away.......GREAT JOB !!!!!!

if you goingto buy maybe safe to use ebay./ paypal....if it dont show up you get your money back...i dont think the shine factor matters....bass still smash some of my baits that are dull.......craws dont shine!!!!!! i think the shine on a bait is the sell factor.....

yep mix well i use a round tooth pick and small batches enough for 2 baits i do get a few bubbles from time to time .but, the second coat goes on thinner and fills good......i dont sell baits so for me its just to protect the finish....

it is a lee iv pro pot.....im seeing the dollars savings already i need to get some powder paint in white....that was the trick last year in the river those eyes wanted a white head......i think we spend $100 on jigs last year....

can you burn the lead in the pot? whats a good setting to use first time pot user..my jigs turn out great but, i kept hearing a popping sound...started out all the way up then down to 6..i used wax to clean the lead...lead was part of a 30lb bar i had..made 10 1 oz. jigs for walleye fishing in the detroit river....round ball with barb

the muskies are really big in the river as well as lk st clair....this guy was a fool....it just fun to see them when you bass fishing there right next to the boat we see them all the time...my son had a bass on only to be taken from a muskie when he hit it..nice big one came to the boat never let go..at the end we got the lure back he got the bass......

whats the straw for? i dont fish these baits but if its to run your line in it still needs a trim? can you show me one rigged?...i mostly fish cranks and craws..just started to drop shot for smallies and ill say thats fun fishing right there....

dont used a oval split ring it will lock into the bill use the round....my baits all run true with a round ring..

back to d2t i dont think you can beat that stuff...its hard as a rock ...im fishing a square bill on a flat all rocks for smallies and the bait is taken a beating and not a mark on the lure.....wow good stuff.......

my camera is broke and my iphone wont up load any pics to show...i was able toget 90% of the paint off.....im thinking old paint maybe at leaast 5 years or more....that all got trashed ..createx paint this week end if hobbie lobby has that.?

second coat of clear to cover the eyes and all the paint ran.....wtf...trashed lure....bak to d2t for me ..letting it dry so i can sand it a little and try a cover paint.....or try to strip it off....

lol helicopter lure for sure.....dont use them ...your line will twist big time.....thanks roland i own you one.....swivel wont help....

id like to paint 5 or 10 baits at once...( funny didnt think id sell my baits .but,theres a market..) im using my old fly vice for one bait at a time ..what can be made or what can i buy to hold a few baits ....

the clear worked well...but ,ill need to fish the bait and look for hook marks before i give it a thumbs up...bait looks great..hooks and eyes going on today....im thinking eyes should have been put in place before the clear coat....im a little cheesed at the blanks i got..the bills look like someone ran sandpaper on them....they fish good....
