just picked up a big square bill ...kvd 8.0 sexy......blow out $ 5.99 ...ill try a bigger bait for that price but she'll have to ride in the glove box of the stratos.....lol

fish the wooded cover with a 1/2 oz. bass jig if bass is what your fishing ...i have found over many years that bass love wood...trees,docks.ect...i fish a lake that is drained 15%for winter exposing all the wooded stump fields...for the 50/60/70 s ..they cut these trees down then back flooed the lake with a dam...the bass are stacked in the timber......i use a football jig...blue/black color and just kill it...must people just pass me by and im right i the thick of it with the boat...i have even taken them from the shore lines in the same spot.....its a local park with a big lake ..no houses and boating is a no wake rule..so you just bump it in gear and go...a river runs in and out the out side has a dam and so dose the in..but you cant get to the iner part by boat........so fish the wood......

your right ,,all the old plastic lures some throw over the side kills the fish that eat it...I think there was a new England state that wanted to ban all plastic baits..a few years back...but lost during there voting...keep America fishing played a big part in that....also the lead we use states are working on banning that to....

shimano im thinking has the best they have sold millions of that curado reel ive had one for 15 years and never done a thing to it..never cleaned it..cast like a champ...just sayin

..the kvd pt is great mine works like a champ....id like to find out about that noise too I have another quantum reel that's the same way very good for casting but.you know your casting it.....

please tell me the do's and dont's for making lead jigs..im new and looking to get a 3/4 oz--1 oz. round head mold....i have about 15lbs of lead in a block someone formed and left behind 20 yrs ago when i moved into my house...id like to put it to use now.....im fishing the detroit river for walleyes and its loaded with snags...so we use alot on some days..besides a mold and melting sorce what else needs to be done....? and how do you do it..i heard someone say it needs to be cleaned? this could be tire weight lead I'm not sure....I use it for a door stop in the garage..im thinking thats what it has been used for all along ..

i bet......if someone is making this bait.id like to know how its rigged and dose it hold up well......i like this mold...

has anyone one tried to use muskrat fur for a mouse/rat bait....i was thinking of remaking a older creek chub pikie into a rat by cutting the bill down flat and epoxying some muskrat fur on to it .replacing the hooks...just wondered if the fur would stay on the bait and if it made casting a little harder .because of the drag..? my bait is a older well used wooden pikie no real value..its takin its share of pike...

SENDING TO BASS PRO REPAIR FRIDAY...IF I CANT GET IT....

theres alot of knock off that people have done..i myself had several made from a laser cutter..then i bent them on the shop brake...I would think there are a lot on ebay..I sold mine as kits to painters at the time...kind of like the lucky craft knock offs that are on ebay right now...becareful if your looking for originals.......just seen the video diemia great work....

never heard of them....I like to buzz a spinner bait across the top just under to give it the wake look..have takin a lot of bass this way..but some times the bait will walk to the side and not run true...then the next cast it runs great....was looking at a yamamoto spinnerbait and it says on the package high speed blades.???? is this just sales talk or the real deal....do I need high speed blades????

hear you there jrammit.....i tied that loop knot for fishing rapalas at night for walleyes . after loosing a few baits had to make a change not for me..but interesting.!!!!!!!
