  1. This is a top water bait. The baby mallard was carved out of a block of pine. dimensions are 6" long by 2 1/8 wide. it weight 4 ozs. I used a large jitterbug bib and creeper wings to give the bait a side to side wobble. There are two # 6 trebles hooks with two # 5 indiana blades to simulate swimming feet.

A top water bait, total length 14" wood turned body ,wire through with a #12 .040 magnum Colorado blade up front to bulge the water. one #5 treble belly hook attached to the body with .090 1.125" eye screw..and three 5" magnum grubs with 7/0 single hooks. Center hook is attached to the through wire. with a 2 x # 5 split ring. The two side body hooks are attached with 2 x # 5 split rings and .090 by 1" eye screws. Lure was hand painted using oil base enamel This is a great, late evening,and a well into the night lure. Hence Midnight bulge'r.
