    Brush Types

I haven't had a problem with the bristles coming out but I usually give them a pull before I use them just in case been using them for awhile now just saw where some people are using the same brush multiple times and thought I would try something different especially if it pops more air bubbles

    Brush Types

Just wondering what type brushes you guys think are best for your finish epoxy coat I've always just used the cheap craft brushes from Wal-Mart but recently have been trying better art brushes and the flex coat brushes also how do you clean them I've been using d.a. and just flushing them
  11. Have you tried the testors enamel paint used for model cars seems to shine and leave a better circle to me

I have made numerous a rigs with the back to back wire bends and heat shrink and also the crimp sleeves they all work great just make sure your back to back bends are the same on each wire or the blades will hit each other (if you use larger blades) barlowes has the crimp sleeves so does Jane when their not sold out I'm currently making a ten blades rig and a double rig that looks pretty cool
  13. I use the Teflon pins also they work great and easy to clean I bake my paint on with them in the jig allow it to cool then superglue the weedgaurd in
  14. I drill eye sockets in my spinnerbait heads the mold I use doesn't have indentations for the eyes then powder paint the head then fix the eyes in with 5min epoxy if I have the time I also coat the whole head with devcon 2 ton put in on a lure turner turns out good

    Cs Seal Coat

They look great.I just bought the small jar to try it out. Just got to finish two cranks I'm Woking on to try it out on
  16. The metal material I'm referring to is the screen material used on the top of the vacuum box that you place your bait on that the air passes through.I also use the plastic sheeting .20 for my stencil material
  17. Lowe's has the metal material but it's abt $27 for what appears to be a 12/12 piece I think if I make the same kind of former I'll use the top of a rectangular Christmas cookie can and just drill a bunch of holes in it. I currently just use the can and a heat gun and place the plastic between two frames like the dakota lakes video
  18. Coley posted a tutorial sep 30 2011 on vac former that's a good one look toward the bottom of first page

    Mirror Chrome Film

I 'll give it a shot today if I've got any cement handy .I tried superglue on a jerkbait I made and it looked good at first but lifted when on the lureturner also have it on a flatsided crank I made but not sure if it's going to work any better stepped away from it when I got frustrated last night so close to the look I want. Thanks for the advice I saw the wheelchair you did with the hollo foil it looks great I have some similar foil but haven't tried it yet that's next

    Mirror Chrome Film

So far so bad on the chrome film it looks great but the adhesive that's on it keeps releasing still working on it some of you guys more experienced with foiling baits could probably have it figured out
