Thanks, Ben !! This is my favorite lure to make and use. Certain times of the year it is my go to bait. The great thing about this type of lure is you have so many ways you can fish it. Cast and let it sit for a minute then slowly twitch and it gives a frog presentation, or burn it then pause, burn it all the way, and slow retrieve. Sorry for the long post. Lol Thanks again Ben !!

Bill it is a compliment that you want to steal my design. I actually do it the hard way. I cut out the profile then shape and then deside where I want to place the holes. Sometimes I want the legs to be at an angle, or straight or whatever crazy ideal I come up with. And yes this design rides with the legs down.

Hey Bill, that exactly how I plan to rig it once I find the right hooks. I turned the weighted eye screw so that once I attach the double hook it will swing the right direction. If I did not do it that way the hook would swing sideways. Thanks for the advice, I guess great minds think a like !! Thanks again Bill !!

This is a lure blank that I painted. I have started trying out the crackle method with and without acrylic paint. This was done with createx, and it came out with a different crackle look. Thanks !!
