Praying for rain here in California the next couple months. We have a lot of rainfall to make up or else we won't have any water to fish in.

some strike king 10XD's I painted trying to get as close as possible to lucky crafts delta craw pattern -

a customer wanted some SK 2.5's painted a sort of delta craw pattern. -
liked how this color turns out. I call it spring gill. -
still need to put black spot on gill. I'm new to this as im only 16 years old so im still experimenting with the colors on some of my patterns. -
great job! would do great on some of the mothelode lakes like New Melones to the east of me! -

maybe a slot or small barb protruding from the bottom to hold the plastic on. then, just a dab of super glue

exactly. if it were to be a hard bait, you would have to come up with some sort of way to replace the legs.

Hey y'all, I had a friend contact me asking to paint a mudsucker/gobe pattern. I've never painted one of these and I'm asking for help along with other people to post their favorite uncommon forage species colors.

i'm sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Josh. I'm 15 and from Cali. I fish for mostly bass. I've been making baits for about 3 years now and have just started to sell my handpours. I'm getting on to start selling my hand carved and airbrushed lures. I have lots of ideas and plan on learning from TU as well as sharing. I may be young but don't count me out.

well, when you think about it, a small ducklings leg can closely be compared to a swimbait. now, imagine two of those on the bottom of your bait. the only concern is that the fish may come up and grab only the "foot".

i use the cameo. its my mom's being im only 15. once you get the hang of using it, you can cut a few stencils on each piece of paper depending on the size. it can also cut pretty thick materials such as stencil material and certain cloths. i just figured out how to take a picture off of google images and make a stencil out of it and used it to paint one of my rods camoflage. you might want to check to make sure you can use the smaller one to still be able to cut the materials like the stencil plastic. i should probably post a video using it as a stencil maker for lures once my new airbrush comes in. tight lines and God bless, Josh
