Ok guys quick question. How thick is this stuff? I photofinish most of the time need it thick enough to smooth between the foil and the body. Is that realistic of should I stick to epoxy?

I have been airbrushing crankbaits for a little over a year and want to give er a go at jigs. What is the most cost efficient way to melt the lead to pour? Ive seen the production pots but I dont want to spend that much. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Outside Temperature Spraying Your Crankbaits

I always airbrush outside. Its winter so its cold but thay doesnt stop me. I do clearcoat inside though. Cold sucks with clear coat. It take like 1000x longer to dry. I dip my jerkbaits, lipless and topwaters in GST and my lipped baits I brush D2T. -

What are you guys talking about that the epoxy will Plaster of Paris

I use D2T. I mix it on a flat surface (generally a sheet of paper) and then I pull it all together. I think its called folding it or somthing and it goes on good.

wLure is decent as I get my 1.5 blanks from them. I got some painted ones on sale and one of the bills wasnt fully injected... Hard to complain considering the prices though. There big swimbaits are pretty crappy... i was bidding on some of those 2.5s and lost but he sent me a second chance offer at 7.99 for 10 of them so I bought them. I will figure out if they are decent in like 3-4 weeks, lol.

Ive been selling a few photofinish baits with fairly good results. I feel like I must be doing somthing wrong compared to Saltshaker... On a 1.5 blank my best was 12.50 and i did a lucky craft and got 22.50. Decent but nothing compared to Saltshaker. Whats the secret, lol

I came across 10 painted 2.5s with mustad treble hooks Buy it Now on ebay for 8.99. Are these the same blanks we are painting or are there different ones of different quality?

That was incredible. Ive never seem a custom crankbait excluding wiggle warts and musky lures go that high.

I would like to paint some Storm Arashi crankbaits but have no idea how to remove the eyes without wrecking them. Has anybody came across a method? I have seen them for sale custom painted so ik its possible. I just need to be pointed in the right direction.
