I asked how to calculate a dealer price not how to plan my life....

Thanks everybody, I didn't mention it but I'm only 16 so I have some time to prepare before I "go big" I am going to start by maybe trying to sell a few baits to tackle shops around my area just to get my name out there. A little different question now, how should I calculate my dealer price?

I have tried Janns Netcraft balsa bodies and building my own from Hobby Lobby blasa and when I drill the hole for the belly weight, the wood around the hole falls off of the bait? Help

After reviewing the website, only Fury Lures makes them. All of the gill plates on their different crankbaits are the same or similar. I have also never seen this blank or any of their others.

I was buying plastic ko's and all my feedback on the lure performance was that they sucked. I have since been building wooden crankbaits and I have had great success with them. Look into wood.

Lol thanks for all the answers, I understand that it would be hard but I believe it's possible. I think keeping up with demand wouldn't be a hard part, it's actually people buying them.

I have seen painted Spro Fat Papa knockoffs for sale on ebay and I want to buy those blanks but I have no idea where people get them, if you know I would love a response, thanks.

I have been recently making wooden crankbaits and I discovered a new design on accident and its a fish magnet! I want to make a company that sells wooden crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jigs, and maybe buzzbaits. Is this realistic if I can come up with an efficient way to produce them? Do you make a living on a lure business? Thanks

I will share what I use, I have been recently using Minwax Fast Drying Polyurthane. I dip it once and hang it. It works great. Needs 2 coats plus tho
