Was just wonderin if any body ever bought some scents from a trappers store like crayfish , fish, shrimp ... etc, and tried them? They all smell strong and most are oil based scents. Most are all natural also.

put a fry pan,, cast iron pan.. etc.. then ur pyrex cup.. i saw someone have a huge fry pan and they set their pyrex on it.. then put sand mixed with some kind of adhesive (so it didnt move ) and set their cups in spots and he said that it kept plastic heated better. I personally use a cheap pan i got at public sale big enough for 2 cup pyrex to fit on ,Has never been a problem and makes shooting laminates easy once you find the correct setting on hot plate. Keeps both the plastics the same temp.

All depends on how thick the body of the worm you want. Bobs tackle shak has a good ribbontail mold. looks close to the ol monster worm.. so does baitjunkies. I had the do-it ribbontail and the tail was to thin to my liking. The 7" bass tackle ribbon tail mold are what i have ,an caught alot of fish on them. was told the 10" in their ribbontail was huuuge!!!!!! their 5" is a fish catcher also/ Never had others but was looking for a ribbontail similar to the berkley power worm and the lakesides baits 6" ribbontail is close but the body is alittle thinner. Hope you find 1 that you like there are sooo many to choose from and some people have different likes.

The veritas 2.0 is a good rod for the $$ not a fan of the older ones but the 2.0 is good

Empty coffee containers loose there smell pretty fast when adding baits into them.. Maybe the first time you load up baits into empty coffee container ,they might give off a coffee smell.. it wont last long though.

I use the empty maxwell or folgers coffee containers. They work nice If you don't drink coffee maybe a relative does? You can buy anise essential oil and add it to worm oil to make your own scents also.

If you didnt call stanley direct..call them.. i have ordered discontinued products years ago through them. They have layin around warehouse. Might want to give that a try?

Usually smaller baits get smaller glitter.. User preference also.That's why it's a custom bait. Make somethin that nobody else has and the rewards are huge!!!!!!!!

If you have a bait on hand.. try cutting it in half then u will see the true colors .Each company/person has there take on any different color or name .

Like mentioned above..shoot craws in the tip color u want.. Cut the desired amount off,load up in mold and shoot your main color.Make sure tips are clean no oil or nothing on them an shoot main color 340-350 so u get a good strong bond.

If using dark colors try grinding up some cork. I have made frogs from this an they float a 5/0 hook .I have a block of cork i got cheap from a place that sells it for people that make sculptures outta it.. I FORGET if it's the low or high density cork though.. 1 is better than other

Bought the non de gassed plastic from b.j more than once and I use microwaves and never had problem with bubbles.I like his plastic also And watch sometimes he has unbeatable killer deals on it. If i couldn't get my regularsoft or medium chemionics plastic, i would buy Baitjunky's plastic all the time.

Maybe u have a dirty mold.? Wipe both sides off and look at it. Make sure the 2 halfs don't rock when you match them together Some times a little burr or even plastic will make ur molds not completly seal together when u clamp them . Never heard of salt making a mold flash b4

I also have a screw on tipped injector..hate it..I prefer the injectors without the locking pin.. thats me.. not all do and thats fine.. but what i have seen on this site is alot of bashing he said he did stuff and it really makes a mess outta things,One person likes light beer 1 person don't . Don't mean to hijack who has a ribbontail worm that is very similar to the 7" berkley powerbait worm? or berkley havoc juice worm? The closest i have seen in pics is the lakeside baits 6" ribbontail but never had 1 in hand P.s i have the bt 7" ribbontail and it's thicker sorta like zooms ol monster ..some what. caught alot of fish on em also.. thanks to w.d givin me samples i bought the molds for myself DON'T get the bt 10" ribbontail thinkin its like the ol monster cause its huge!!!!!
