does anyone have a chart that gives comparisons of thread sizes? I use size a, b d, e on my flies and jigs, and it seems the new way is in denier 70 or 140 or 3/0 or 6/0 it seemed easier with the "abc" system. thanks for the help

you could build a box and use peg board for the top they have it with smaller holes at the lumber yard, it seems to work ok after you seal all the seams. -
i use chrome for TU and lately it keeps logging me out after 30 min or so. in the morning hen i first open TU i am logged out, i used to be logged in all the time when i started it but now i am not is it just chrome or did some security issues cause this to change. thanks for the info

What size eyes do you guys keep on hand at all times, I want to build a small stock up so when I finish a bait I have eyes on hand for them, rather than ordering each time I get baits to paint. sizes and colors you keep would be helpful thank you

thank you i ordered some from ebay will have to wait to see if i like them, but i will at least be able to modify them if i need to.

I am looking for eyes for my crankbaits in 5mm and 4mm that look like an eye on a walleye, anyone have a good idea where to get them or how to make them? they should have glue on backs but i will clear over them. thank you

i tried to google the manufacturer, seems they have gone out of business, or been bought up, but if you google "hair tinsel" you will find some on ebay that they use to put in girls hair for flash, maybe that will work for you.

i bought some at xmas it was supposed to be tinsel but it comes 18" long x 1/8 wide strips so i can get lots of strips from one package, comes in red, blue, silver, gold and pearl.

it's pretty cool how they paint the scale pattern, sure beat the way I did it.

I have painted cars and my harley, but those are the first ones with an airbrush, I took all the advice from this site and another one, and those are the baits I finally got done. now I am out of blanks so have to wait to get more. the bass was done with the iwata eclipse, and the others were done with the talon. thank you
